But is the end game with all that? Who cares if NXT puts Dakota Kai & Tegan Nox together as a team and they end up as fluffy babyfaces on SmackDown? It's all just the same shit shuffled around. They can put teams together when they want teams together.

I can see the argument for never having done it. I can see the functionality in it being a set of belts to just put on people and cycle shit around. But I just can't justify the dramatic stakes that people project into this division when it's never been there and arguably was never intended to be. It's like getting upset because the 24/7 Title hasn't found a stable home or had an intense feud over it. No shit.

The Women's Tag Titles are there, at best, to give two women a way to jump between the shows (not that the roster split is sacrosanct or anything). At worst they are two shiny things for two girls to have.
