You’re probably right about nothing changing, but buying a TV network just to get a show on the air seems way too extreme. Why not just put it on AXS? I’m sure Mark Cuban could have sold to many people.

Impact could always change its working relationship. I don’t think the AAA thing is crucial for them. I’m fairly certain Meij would jump at the opportunity to work with Vince, and has even said so himself. If the deal were between NXT and New Japan (I mean creatively), I can see Triple H being that equal partner. He’s worked out footage deals and the Liger thing with them before. And yes, I know Liger is a freelancer, but he’s not just going to work a WWE show without clearing it with New Japan for etiquette’s sake.
