All caught up, here's the lay of the land:

Nagata's timer runs out on 15th Feb, Makabe on the 16th Feb.

As expected, neither are on the Fantasticamania tour (10th Jan - 20th Jan).
There is New Beginning USA scheduled from 24th Jan - 1st Feb, the older guys don't tend to work these shows but, again, can't rule it out.
Running concurrently, The NEW BEGINNING tour runs from 25th Jan - 9th Feb with marquee shows on the 1st, 2nd & 9th.

Cards for New Beginning will only be revealed following Fantasticamania, but there's a twist. Nagata's lost time tag partner and rival Nakanishi will be retiring early into the NEW JAPAN ROAD tour (19th-22nd Feb are his available dates). Nagata is a lock for these events, but time will have expired by the time the tour begins. There's always the chance for the retirement tour to begin earlier, during The NEW BEGINNING but with Nakanishi so broken down they might want to save it.

Of course either guy could get booked on NEW BEGINNING so its not over yet, and providing they both do this wont be until at least NEW JAPAN CUP in March (and thats IF either of them participates in the tournament).

We wont know anything else until the 21st.

Yours Ominously,
Ultra Mantis
