Not really, but I bet a lot of people disagree. I honestly want to know why the fuck the dock is $90. I could see people wanting another set of joycons, a pro controller, another dock - fairly reasonable setup, and you've landed on $600.

People in that thread are doing the 'replacement part' thing, but that's nonsense. Having a dock in one place, a dock in another, and having the system be portable between the two would be, like, a completely normal part of the concept of the Switch.

So if a dock is worth $90 and the joycons are worth $80 and the joycon dock is worth $30 then that's $200 dollars for a controller and a piece of plastic. The actual Nintendo Switch is then hypothetically a further $100 dollars - about the same as the piece of plastic it sits in.
