Pre-Show : Cool set. I KNOW the cars will play a part somehow. I dig the logo, the name and the set. Now on to the show...


1. Drew McIntire vs Kofi Kingston - I didn't even know this was on the card. Not a Drew mark at all. In fact he bores me. BUT Kofi got a good match out of him. Decent opening match with a good finish. 8/10.

2. Ted Dibiase vs R-Truth - Forgot about this match going into the event. I really love Dibiase right now but this match sucked. He was off his game from the start. Either that or these 2 just don't flow well in the ring. I wasn't thrilled with the lame anti-climactic finish. 4/10

3. Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk - Match of the night for me. The got the time they deserved and it was executed perfectly.
As far as the blood goes....I was very sympathetic to WWE about executing the no blood policy but honestly, after seeing blood here I want it back. It gave the match a little extra. I didn't mind the match stoppage at all because when Punk heard the BORING chant he quit giving a shit and went on Rey like a bat out of hell. I am not thrilled to see a bald Punk (he looked like Charles Manson) but DAMNIT that was a good match. 9/10.

Why the hell did Kane come down?

4. Randy Orton vs Edge - What happened here? Such a SLOW match from the very beginning. The lame duck of the show for sure. Poor Orton trying to be emotional just cost him....2/10

5. Jack Swagger vs Big Show - Show is great as a face. His vignettes last week on SD and the hijinx from the 2 weeks prior have really set up a good match here. The action was tight and Swagger did a better job this time around dealing with the big man. Again, shit finish that I kinda expected..Just not so early in the match. Coulda been 4 stars but because of those factors it drops to a 1 or a 2. 4/10.


6. I SKIPPED THE DIVA MATCH

7. John Cena vs Batista - I was actually really stoked about this match. Not a fan of either of these chaps but this feud has actually been decent. High hopes for a swerve. My favorite Cena matches:

1. Cena vs Edge - TLC
2. Cena vs Edge - Last Man Standing
3. Cena vs Orton - Iron Man Match


This match could have made the top 3 but lacked energy to me. Seemed rather forced at times and plodding. The finish made me die inside. Couldn't let Batista go out strong they had to take his character and totally change it all around to make him go out like a big pussy. Fuck them for that. I did enjoy him going through the stage after the bell though. 7/10.





Overall it was pretty weak but far from the worst PPV ever. Glad I didn't pay for it but I also think some good things did happen.

can't really argue with any of Schlomey's points.... although, I really dislike the stoppage for blood.... I understand the whole PG-13 stuff and don't expect people to blade every second match but when the crowd chamts "THIS IS BORING" and boo constantly during a stoppage, WWE might want to think about changing the 'rule'
