Samoa Joe Suspended

Samoa Joe has reportedly been suspended indefinitely by TNA. Apparently the reason for Joe’s suspension is a bad attitude. There is also at least some heat on Joe for his weight not improving.

As reported earlier, Samoa Joe was said to be very upset following his match with Jeff Hardy on iMPACT! last Thursday, which ended in a time limit draw. Joe was furious following the bout because he felt the finish was given away by TNA having ring announcer Jeremy Borash say there were 30 seconds remaining when he specifically asked them not to. According to a source, Joe headed backstage and screamed at Vince Russo while Dixie Carter was present. There are reports that Russo instructed Borash to announce that there were 30 seconds remaining in the match which got Joe irate.

Joe hasn’t worked for the company since the outburst. He wasn’t on hand for last week’s iMPACT! television tapings in Orlando. One source claims Joe yelled at production team members David Sahadi and Keith Mitchell, while others say it was Vince Russo — who reportedly instructed Borash as we noted above.

Meanwhile, another source felt that Joe was right about the finish being given away, but added that he handled the situation poorly. He’s had past backstage outbursts which doesn’t help matters.

As of this writing, we believe that Joe has been suspended by TNA. We’ll keep you posted as we get more.

Sounds like he is getting fed up with the overbooking & writing too. Also sounds like he is trying to protect his characters likeness in the process. Good man, Joe is, for sticking up for his character & what he thinks is right.

Cyber Kong isn't fat. He isn't ripped, either. He's just right for his build, in fact.

Kronus was kinda sorta fat but I wouldn't call it fat. Chubby works better, he was borderline.

You can be fat and agile and/or strong.

Though remember height matters, as well as the amount of muscle. If you're 300 pounds and ripped, you aren't fat. If you're 300 pounds and over 6'5 you likely aren't in the fat category, either. Nash and Taker aren't fat, for example.

If they can move, not be sloppy in the ring and generally be not lazy, there is no problem with "fat". Vader was a fat fuck but he could also fuck you up twenty ways from Sunday and looked good doing it.

Thing is, guys like Matt Hardy's in-ring work was being affected to some extent when he put on the pounds. It's more a problem of being out of shape than being fat. You can be fat and in shape.
