I think my computer is possesed...

Ok, this just started yesterday.

I'm getting some pop ups (wheich I never get, have the google blocker).

Banner ads, I can tell aren't what they're supposed to be, there all about "stop pop ups" and "secure your system"

Stuff just started installing itself on it's own, I got some search bar on t bottom, which I found/removed w/ spybot, Lycros has added a search icon to my IE toolbar up top.

Outlook takes a long time to check for mail and download it, and the system basiclly freezers while doing it.

Plus, outlook used to on it's own block 99% of junk e-mail, now a bunch are going through.

Any ideas?

get a program called: ad-aware and remove all that spyware crap from your computer

everythin should be ok after that. You can also try Spy Bot Search And Destroy as well

yeah, used spybot and still had problems, got pest patrol and the new ver of zone labs, hopefully should clean it all up.

Do the pop ups/banners come from the bottom of the screen and slide up? Because I get those too and they're nothing to worry about just don't click them. Run a virus check and see if you have anything.

ok, ran Pest Patrol and got zone labs going... all is well, now, outlook running fine, no freezes and web pages actually seem to be loading a little faster.

woo-hoo.
