Camcorder to laptop
I have a Dell. It sucks.
I have to upload camcorder footage to laptop. Problem: I don't think I can install the firewire card into my laptop. Or can I? I have no idea how this stuff works. Is there a firewire cable to USB adapter? |

No, there are some weird Chinese firewire to USB adaptors, but they don't work.
If your laptop has a PCMCIA slot: ![]() You can buy one of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815124014 You need to make sure it's the right one though as there are different firwire ports (400 and 800 being the most common). |
