I miss Eddie too, who knows how many times he would've been World Champion by now if he hadn't died hours before he would've been a 2-time Champion.

I believe that when Eddie died, he was arguably the greatest wrestler all around in the business. He had everything. He had charisma, a great gimmick, could work with anybody, could work in a variety of roles. I'm honored to have seen Eddie and Chavo win the tag titles on SmackDown in 2003. The guy was a legitimate superstar.

His blood bath with JBL in 2004 will always be one of my favorites, the guy was so over. And it was the real kind of over, people cared about Eddie and had a connection to him. Also the win over Lesnar might be the best WWE moment of the decade.

Eddie was the man. He was always good, but the stuff from the Los Guerreros formation (late 2002/early 2003) right up til the end of his life was all pure gold. Him winning the title was one of my biggest markout moments ever and when he cheated it never ceased to make me laugh.

I wonder if Eddie would still be wrestling if he were alive. He'd be 44 by this point, so I have to figure he'd be on a HBK-esque half year schedule if he were still wrestling at all. I miss him.

I saw Eddie vs The Dead Man on a house show no dq, great match. Also saw him rassle in the LWO on Nitro once. I remember how he came back from a long injury and Heenan put him over huge, made me think he was gonna wrestle Sting or Hogan for the title

Well, if Eddie were still alive, Vicky wouldn't be the heat magnet that she is now... Ziggler would be in a different place than he is at this point... Swagger may not be the US champ at this point...

and lets not forget Rey Rey's championship and RR victory...

At this point, I would say even in his death, Eddie still is influencing the current WWE product.

I got to see Eddie vs. Benoit in person at Vengeance 2003.

They stole the show as far as I was concerned, the only bad part about that match was that they made the rest of the card boring by comparison.

Granted, some of those matches (Jamie Noble vs. Billy Gunn, Vince vs. Zach Gowan) had no potential to begin with, but my statement still stands.

I often think about how great Eddie Guerrero was. He had a natural charisma that could not be taught. When I first started watching, I never got the love about him. I truly didn't. It wasn't until he really started tearing it up with Chavo as part of Los Guerreros that I understood that Eddie was special. He was so over no matter what he did, and it eventually could not be ignored. He really earned the WWE Championship, and I wish we could have had more time for Eddie Guerrero dominance. It seemed like he was just getting to the stage where you couldn't keep a main title off him. He was just about to become the World Heavyweight Champion, and it would have kept rolling from there.

Would have loved to have seen Shawn Michaels vs. Eddie Guerrero at a WrestleMania.

I really loved in WCW when Eddie made Chavo wear that t-shirt that said "EDDIE GUERRERO IS MY FAVORITE WRESTLER"...and maybe it said "CHEAT TO WIN" on the back, but I forget. That's when I first started marking for him.

I think the last time I watched wrestling and truly cared what was going on was WM20.

It was a storybook ending to one of my favorite shows ever. I always felt like wrestling lost something irreplaceable after those two were gone.

At the risk of sounding pretty gay it lost a little innocence.

It was just an imaginary world we could all tap into where everyone knew what to expect and no one truly got hurt. Seeing two of the most well respected guys in the business at the height of there prowess die in ways that related pretty directly to what they did was really damning to me.

I know I'm not the only one who gave up around then. Most of my household young and old did.
