I said "about the same." Punk is honestly probably better, but Aries is red-hot and reminds me of Punk last summer. Obviously he's not on that level, because he has to work on TNA's scale, but he could get there if they continue using him right.

I guess that's what I'm asking, "realitively speaking" is Austin Aries as good and over in TNA as much as CM Punk is in the WWE?

i just got a kick out of the fact they "gave" him a week to decide if he wants the title shot and yet backstage hes on the destinstion x poster..

as for this thread...punk is way better on the mic and prob slightly better wrestler

I will say this for CM Punk though, he actually pulled off the greatest John Cena match I have ever seen at last year's Money in the Bank PPV.

Aries is a poor man's Punk. He's definitely good and one of the most interesting things on Impact at the moment, but he'll never be as good as Punk. I will say that I've enjoyed him far more as the cocky face than I did as a heel though which is rare for smaller guys so he's definitely got the same sort of mojo that Punk does.
