Greetings, fellow humans! 'Tis the season to be talking about...the season. It's the beginning of December and hopefully your holidays are enjoyable and memorable, for all the right reasons that is. If you ever need a good idea for a stocking stuffer, there's a whole list of goodies here on our leaderboard that you can enjoy well into the new year. Speaking of which, Mega Man 3 from last week's edition needs to take its place among the other games we've tackled here. With three other Mega Man titles on the leaderboard, there's some stiff competition for this one. How does it fare?
A 4.16 score puts Mega Man 3 on the leaderboard at spot 28. It's an impressive score, but not enough to be the highest rated in the franchise so far, as Mega Man 2 still boasts the best spot of all the entries we've rated here with a comfortable position in the top 20.
But let's say we kick off the month with a bang? It's time for our own little time for opening presents. What does the bowl have for us this week?
Fuck this vertical noise. Well, whatever; it's done. How about some more sequel action here on Rate the Game? We return to the action-oriented, military FPS franchise juggernaut from Activision. You wanted more modern warfare? Well, this game gave it to you whether you wanted it or not. The follow-up to one of the biggest titles in the entire genre, it's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2! With the predecessor being such a phenomenon, there was a lot to live up to for this one. The question being if it succeeds as a worthy entry to the franchise. Or maybe this whole Call of Duty thing isn't your bag to begin with? There's plenty for us to discuss here. Let's hear what you all think and we'll see you next week!

This one was the last one I played to completion. I only touched Modern Warfare 3 and Advanced Warfare very briefly. I praise this one tremendously, but I think if the first Modern Warfare hadn't been released or at least had some of its elements in this one, I'd have gone the full Monty. It kind of felt like more of the same. I do, however, love the Special Ops missions, especially the co-op ones.
I played a little bit of Modern Warfare 3 when I was in line with my friend for a midnight release. It worked well enough, but I just thought that it had an uphill battle against the Battlefield game that released around the same time.

Battlefield is such a good game. 2042 went waaaaaaay downhill, and I'd rather go back to playing in the WW2 fighting of Battlefield V.
2042 is alright.... they just kinda killed it with the specialists. If the next BF game has specialists again, I will not buy it. They designed it kinda like COD to try to make bank on specialist skins and shit.
