more on the strength of the divas!
  She's 5'3 and weighs 105 pounds; I can’t believe she picked up the Hardy Boyz at that size and weight! I thought female wrestlers were simply unable to lift the men, and that's why they never do any moves on them. But if the Kat (surely the weakest Diva in history) can lift Matt/Jeff Hardy, people like Victoria, Lita and Jazz could comfortably perform their finishing moves on men. To my knowledge the only female wrestler to ever lift a man in WWE was Chyna. Why don't female wrestlers ever get credible offence on the men? I'm not advocating more singles matches between men and women. But it would certainly make the women seem less like just eye-candy when they're involved at ringside or in inter-gender tags. It's not like Victoria hitting a Widow's Peak on a man in a mixed-tag would make him look any weaker than him losing no more so than her hitting him with a chair. But it'd get a big crowd pop and establish the women as more credible performers. |

WWE is sexist and wouldn't allow women to appear capable of actually hurting their big tough men.

They'd think "there's Trish, she's hot, she could affect the match". As it is, the wrestlers who double as managers seem to lose their ability to fight when they're being a valet. Instead of slapping him, I think it'd be cool for Trish to bodyslam Jericho when he goes to the outside. She could definately do it: he's about the same weight as the Hardyz and Trish is far, far stronger than the Kat. It not only adds another dimension to the match by making the valet's presence seem more worthwhile and would give credibility to the women's division. |

Not all women have in ring talent example: Stacy Keibler. But some women do have incredible talent but have lack of talent competition. Being strong is a lot differnt than being talented.

If Victoria had turned face by giving the Widow's Peak to Stevie Richards, she'd be a much more respected wrestler. Then when she is eventually beaten, they'd be more respected too. People would sit up and notice that Jazz has incredible strength if she did the "bitch lock" (is that what it's called?) move to Tajiri instead of Trish. I was very surprised to see the Kat's strength, and I'm sure I could be even more impressed with the efforts of the other, better trained women on the roster. I just think it's sad that WWE are afraid to let the current women really show us what they can do. |

However on RAW the Women have a lot more credibility than any of the chicks on Smackdown. *note the distinction - RAW = Women, Smackdown = chicks. Anyway, it matters nothing to me if a wrestlers has a penis or not. What matters to me is the credibility of the storyline in cases like this. The jacqueline storyline is a prime example - no hype, sudden appearance, walks off with the belt. All this done was damaged the CW title, and anyone who competes for it. However, is say Jazz was gobbing off about how she can lock the STF in on anyone, and they'll tap out, then I wouldn't have a problem in believing that she could take on guys and make them tap. Then it's about the moves being credible, not the sex of the wrestler. |

And Jacqueline was disrobed above the equator at one PPV... Even Jazz, despite her lukewarm reception, seems more over as "the woman you just don't wanna mess with period" in the Women's Division than Jacqueline was in a similar role. |
