I've said it a million times before on here. Hassan is my new favorite character in the WWE. He's got the skills on the mic and his timing/delievery are much better than half the WWE superstars. Daivari is even better than Hassan IMO on the mic. I've heard great stories about his ring ability, but haven't seen him in a match yet, so can't comment on there. I think he'll be the IC Champion very soon.

I'm not thrilled with him. How many anti-american gimmicks do we have to go through to realize it's not good TV? I feel sorry for the guy because he's put into a gimmick that will allow him no way out and may make him a marked man by crazy fans. Talking about 9/11 is a cheap way to gain heat.

the difference is what he says is so true, i live in toronto the most multicultural city in the world, and one of my friends who used to wear a turban got called "osama bin laden" or part of al quida(sp?), yes i know this is Canada but there are similarities, infact from what i hear it's 100x worse in America. He also proves what he says, (almost)everything he says is true that's the sad part.

another thing, he hasn't had a single match yet (and guys this is wrestling, not a debate show) so how can you even judge him at all yet? It's a bit too early.

I've been kind of hit or miss on him. I liked the argument against Foley, but then last week he tells us that a study at a University said that people don't like Arabs, which was kind of useless information.

But I agree with Stickman that he will be more of a target by fans depending on how far they go with the character. If he keeps up his charade, I have a feeling fans would try to go after him.

Wow, see on other sites I've see, lots of people, including myself, would say that the Cornell study brought up was the most valuable thing he brought up on Raw this past week. You know why? Because it's fact and you can't deny fact. And when Americans just put that aside and don't believe it, that's showing ignorance and that's Hassan's whole point.

He gets the most heat out of anyone on RAW. Brilliant on the mic, and a lot of what he says about Americans is correct. I can't wait til he starts slamming Bush, especially in the midwest. He'll blow the roof off the arena.

His promos have been great. Ishall reserve my judgement about his wrestling talent until we actually see it.

If he does have the skills then I COULD see big things down the line for him. However, that only depends if his gimmick is allowed to evolve and change over time. If he just continues his same thing it will get tired and old and people will lose interest and he will be stuck in mid card hell for the rest of his WWE career.

As long as they don't tone him down, promo-wise and ring-wise, and as long as they don't turn him into another typical anti-American, he will have great success.

But if they fall back into the same traps, he will fail miserably.

I pray the latter doesn't happen.

I can only see this getting WWE into a lot of trouble. I mean, yeah, I said the same thing about making fun of retarded people last year, but there is such a thing as pushing the envelope too far.

The guy's good on the mic, and I haven't seen him in the ring, but the gimmick is going to piss a lot of people off, and not in a good "I'm going to pay money to see this guy get beaten up" way.

LOL, a while back I posted something like a way to get out of the gimmick would be to have Muhammad Hassan turn out to be American Mark Magnus, a man from a university doing a study to see how racist America is to Arab-Americans.

Then Magnus tells us we all failed, and America should be ashamed. Maybe they could somehow use the university poll (I think it was Cornwell U. or something) to tie in the character. Maybe it was his first study into America's rage towards Arabs.

Anyway, I have high hopes, as long as they keep Hassan and Daivari strong. EVERYTHING they have said is true, and if they keep that up, I can't wait until they go to Canada, Australia or UK and get a standing ovation.

I hope to God they have Hassan and Daivari win the debate on RAW. Have Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross straight out get their proverbial asses kicked when they can't say a thing to disprove Hassan's statements. Except I have a feeling JR will go Stone Cold and start yelling about how American has the rights to invade countries whenever they want because they are the greatest nation in the world. And then have Hassan and Daivari pretend there is no rebuttle to these comments. I also have a feeling this will be made easy for JR and King because Hassan will change his tone and not try and prove that Americans have become Anti-Arab, but that no good has come out of the war.

I personally hope JR and King change their tone from this, and start agreeing with Muhammad and Khosrow. I would mark out if Jerry Lawler punched JR in the debate after simply stating to Muhammad "I 100% agree with you.".

Actually, Hassan did refer to the Cornell study during his Raw promo.

By referencing the Cornell study, Hassan came off as an intelligent heel whose claims are credible.

The WWE seems to be pushing Hassan as the moderate anti-American heel, and Daivara(sp?) as the more extreme anti-American. With this contrast, Hassan words come off as being more sensible, and with greater meaning to the fans.

I thought the Arab garment was a great heat getter. Old school yes, but effective. The anti-American gimmick can only get Hassan so far (see La Resistance). However, the character does have more substance and depth than previous gimmicks of the kind, with Hassan not only being Arab, but also American. This sets up a conflict of interest, and its intriguing to see where this is going.

Hassan character walks the tenuous of uncertainty and that is his greatest appeal. What will he say next? The character resonates and strikes a nerve with fans, and the crowd reaction on Raw indicates that fans are interested.

Personally, I think Hassan would be a great 4th member of Evolution (more on this later).

He's great, I loved the way he scared the crap out of Lawler the other day and Ross seemed petrified that he wasn't mouthing off about it.

I think he should have debuted as Neutral.. Neither Face nor Heel then over the weeks show more signs of being heelish until evetually his had enough of the Crowds ignorance.

But whats done is done.

I think he should get an Ic run.

I love Hassan, his character is different than the average "anti-american" character. He is saying that he, an Arab American, is the American that we should all be. It's an interesting spin on a character that could have become cliche very quickly.

Yeah I think if his wrestling is decent enough, he should be pushed fast and hard, and maybe get an IC title match at Mania. I wouldn't have him win the title at Mania, I think Shelton needs the win at the big show. But, perhaps at backlash, they could have a rematch, and then have Hassan win there.

That's a tricky situation they have revolving around the IC belt though. They have a guy (Shelton) whose potential is limitless and he needs to be pushed hard, very very little in the way of losses. Then you have a character like Hassan, who could use a credible singles title victory. So it's almost a catch-22, you have someone who can't afford to lose the belt and someone who would seemingly be made with it.

In addition to what I said, I do think that if Hassan and Shelton could pull off a 4 or 5 star match at Mania (with Shelton bragging about being an all american in response to Hassan) than I wouldn't be opposed to a title change because I think a great match would make the two of them.

Shelton would than need to move to the next tier slowly, victories over Kane, than Beniot, Jericho, Christian, Randy, Batista, Flair, and ultimately the champion at the next Mania. (I'm a huge Shelton mark and honestly think he could be the next superstar if they push him as such.)

Ok, I got a little heat for my comments. I didn't mean that it was useless information, it just came out that way. I was just stating that to say there was a study to say that Americans don't like Arabs was kind of an obvious. I live in Michigan where there are many Arabs around. I don't like them, and there are many people around here who don't like them as well.

They are hated around here because of how they rip people off. They go to grocery stores where stuff is on sale, so they buy stuff cheap, then they have their own businesses where they sell the stuff they bought at a grocery store at double the price.

1), good generalization
2) That's not ripping someone off, that's smart business tactics.

I really think that is a primitive way to live. They can do what they want, and if you don't like their prices don't buy from them. If they can buy cheap and are clever enough to get people to buy them at a more expensive price, they deserve it.

And I seriously doubt they all run convience stores. That's very stereotypical.

Anyway, I originally thought Muhammad would play a face that's good friends with Shelton Benjamin, and eventually I predicted Hassan getting the IC Title and the World Tag Titles with either Khosrow or Shelton.

Awesome Character, I love how he walks, talks and even how he looks at people, the promo he did last Raw was a classic heel promo, he even went up to the announcers for extra heel heat

And about the whole 9/11 thing, he was talking about how Arab-Americans have been singled out and had their rights limited, how he is against that. He didn't say 9/11 was a great thing did he?

He isn't an anti-american character, he is a Arab-American that wants equal rights, but I guess Americans WOULD Boo that

anyway, I agree with all that he said.
