Crowded House drummer took his own life

It doesn't seem like this has been posted yet but the other day here in Melbourne, Crowded House drummer, Paul Hester, took his own life.

I'm pretty sure alot of you would have heard of Crowded House, they are pretty much one of the biggest bands this country has produced. With songs like "Better Be Home Soon", "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Something So Strong".

When I found out I was pretty devastated, the guy was the funniest, brightest and most entertaining guy to see on stage or even TV which was what he was doing recently. He had a great sense of humour and to all his fans, just seemed like the happiest guy alive. But apparently he had been sufferening from depression.

It's a damn shame.

It's a shame to hear about someone going out this way

Crowded House was one of my favourites in the 80's and I was hoping for a reunion.

What gets me is that Paul looked like the fun member of the group from their videos. To learn that he suffered from depression took me for a loop. I felt the same way about Michael Hutchence.
