So what comes next for Edge and Hardy?
From what i'm reading and hearing from everybody, the general consensus is that Mcmahon brought Hardy back into the WWE to give Edge an even stronger main event push. From there, he goes to Smackdown, where hes buried until his contract expires or he quits in disgust.
I guess that i'm one of the few people that doesn't think theres some grand conspiracy to destroy Matt Hardy. They went through all of this trouble to get Hardy back onto TV and into major matches on two paperviews, what would be the point in letting him fade into obscurity? To "satisfy Vince's ego"? Lets all be optimistic for a couple minutes and pretend that Matts return wasn't just a way to bury him forever. What oppurtunitys could be waiting for him on Smackdown? And will the feud between him and Edge really be concluded on Monday? |
