Function key reversed on laptop?
Ok, have a older Dell laptop, but it's like 1.6mhz 512mem. It needed a new screen, picked one up on ebay for under $200.00 casing and all.
easy swap. Now, when I turn it on, it acts like the function key is pressed, so certain letters responed with numbers (function key allows a group of keys to act like a numberpad). If I press it all is well. My short term fix, poped of the key and taped it down, of course now if I actually need the function key, I don't have it... which I don't see me needed it that much. Is their an easy fix I should try? Rarely use my laptop now, so not worth buying a new one. ![]()
