Jackie Gayda Signs with TNA
The following was just issued on TNAwrestling.com:

TNA ANNOUNCES SIGNING OF NEWEST “TNA KNOCKOUT” JACKIE GAYDA

TNA Wrestling is proud to announce the signing of Jackie Gayda, becoming the latest “Knockout” to join Total Nonstop Action.

With Gail Kim and Traci already commanding the spotlight for Total Nonstop Action, it will be interesting to see if the addition of Gayda will lead to the sharpening of claws among TNA’s current femme fatales in the near future.

Gayda joins TNA after four years of in-ring competition and is a former winner of the “Tough Enough” series. In addition to her stunning beauty and athletic prowess, Gayda was also a track and field star and an All-Ohio athlete.

“It’s a very exciting time for me to join TNA Wrestling,” Gayda told TNAwrestling.com. “I’m proud to be the newest ‘TNA Knockout’ and given the opportunity to prove myself again, but let me say this – this time things are going to be a little different. There’s a certain situation going on that I plan to address, one that affects me on so many levels, but I’ll leave it at that for now. To all my fans – see you soon on SpikeTV!”

Now if TNA would only fire A1, Apolo, Bobby Roode, Cassidy Riley, Elix Skipper, Jerrelle Clark, Johnny Fairplay, Konnan, Matt Bentley, Shocker, Sonjay Dutt, and Sonny Siaki. Re-instate Jerry Lynn and Sean Waltman to active competition. Put BG James and Kip James together as a regular tag team. Hire some free agents in Brock Lesnar (which would be viewed as a pretty significant), Christian, Kanyon, etc. Finally deliver on the Jarrett-Raven match, and get the title off of Jeff Jarrett they may gain some more attention.

They need to acquire some guys like Kanyon and Christian, as you said, and maybe they should look into Sting again - and actually do something with him this time. They also should use teams like Rock N' Roll Express [when Morton is available again], and Midnight Express - who still have LOTS of gas in the tank. That would be a way to kickstart a tag division, that is otherwise near as much of a joke as WWE's.

The Naturals, Dudleys, Team Canada [which is horrible] and AMW do not make a tag team division. And 3LK should be split up, pushing Killings as a singles worker.

Yeah those are some shit teams. Even when you throw NAO (which I'm sure will be getting paired up to feud with the Dudley's soon) it's still a pretty week division. I don't see why no one is capitalizing on Tag wrestling any more. :dunno:
