Biker Taker
Anyone miss him/want him back?

Honestly, we all thought it would be nice and fun to have the old dead man back... but 2 years later, I personally think biker taker is better, and obviously more believable.

I especially loved his heel undisputed champion run, like when he made dreamer drink his tabacco spit ... and let's not forget his match with Jeff Hardy which was actually pretty good.

i duno, i'm not just too into the dead man taker anymore and would love to see him back as the biker

At this point, I don't think it matters. With the exception of his feud with Angle, Taker doesn't try very hard anymore.

Wow I was actually thinking of making a thread like this a few hours ago.

The problem is that the wwe still see UT as maineventer and every feud he gets into mainevents alot of smackdown show and takes up alot of time on ppv's and the shows. The main problem with this is that his feud are always mostly the same. The feud usually revolve around the same thing whether UT’s opponent is afraid of him or not. UT says rest in piece a lot and some time across the feud he will come back from the dead or/and do some impressive entrance involving lighting or some crap like that. The kids might like it but its boring and repetivie.

If UT goes back to being Biker Taker he might be allowed to do some semi-interesting promo and we will not be treated to the same tired old feud formula.

I think it's stupid not to have the biker version. It looks beyond stupid doing a dead man gimmick in this day especially when he thinks he is an MMA fighter.

I agree. The Biker Taker allowed him to wrestle better an dnot have to rely on a stale gimmick.

I say remove all gimmicks have him come out as Mark, the former Undertaker or some shit.. I dunno.

the return of undertaker was basically so calloway can rest more while still being used as a headline superstar .. personally i think its pathetic the writers just use him now if they are stuck for ideas and shove him in gimmick matches.
since his return the undertaker has taken part in 3 casket matches ,a hell in a cell and ,the hearse match.
the writers know that if you place someone against the undertaker then it becomes a higher card match to some viewers. hence the henry casket match at mania with absolutely no build up, or the hell in a cell with orton at armageddon when batista was injured and couldnt compete in a full title match. biker taker should be brought back as he was generally better in ring and didnt rely on saying rest in peace every 5 minutes

I dunno. I don't think I've ever marked out like I did when he came out to his 'dead man' gimmick at a Smackdown taping in the UK. Yeh, week after week on television it can get stale, but I'd rather he stay in this gimmick just for the reaction from the live crowds.

See, if we get the stupid entrances that fuck up the end of PPVs, Like Survivor Series and Royal Rumble. Actually just stupid juvenile stuff all round

But if we have the biker, we get all that crap about his Yard, and him being a 'badass'. Thats just unedurable. My only memories of the biker taker is him squashing anyone that looked like they might become a star, even Angle's first title riegn was blighted by him.

Either way he sucks and should just retire after Wrestlemania 23, by keeping his streak against a top draw performer like HHH, Micheals or Angle or even Hogan. That way we get rid of the peice o' crap and he keeps his ego.

In this regard, the difference between UT now and then, is that now he only comes back every two to three months for these squash matches as compared to every week when he was the biker.

I'd rather have him as the biker, if for no other reason that than to stop insulting the intelligence of the audience that he has supernatural powers, can explode a ring, make his opponent, and us, see things (Bleeding Bob), can shoot lightening from his hands, and possess people.

As a matter of fact, that Taker has these powers, and still can't beat Kurt Angle, shows who the man really is.

UT's supernatural powers are extremely gay, especially in the lead-up to the HIAC match with Randy Orton but there are other things in the WWE that insult my intelligence. At least with the UT's sideshow, I know it's just there for the entertainment value.

Bad idea to have the "I'm looking for respect and ride the local bike shop's chopper" gimmick back. I'm all for it later down the road. No pun intended. But not right now when the Hell's Angels and Outlaws at tensions right now. They might slap vince with a lawsuit with discrimination or something like that.

I hated Biker Taker worst of ANY of his little incarnations. That's the last thing I'd want to see (personally speaking, of course).

But I'm not too keen on -this- version of Deadman Taker. I don't know if it's just me, but he's not even close to being like the original Deadman. He looks just like a regular guy who rolls his eyes back in his head. Only difference is the dark entrance and the black hat. If he got his old costume back, what with the cross and all, I might buy it again.

But I'm with The One on this one. Taker isn't good enough to make me care about ANY gimmick he has, honestly.

Seeing Taker's Wrestlemania 20 entrance where he took off the hat to reveal the bandanna.........

It's like he's trying to be new & old Taker at the same time. It never works tryin' to balance being two @ once.

Taker was a definete personality as "The American Badass". His promos were much better and weren't restricted to "Rest In Peace". His ring work was improving as well. He was incorporating more submissions and a little more psychology[ala working specific parts over]. His ring work now pretty much consists of him hitting signature spots and him saying "rest in peace"..........

Taker was much better old school[1990-99]. But, "Badass" Taker had its moments as well. He was definetely better in that form than his current role.

Maybe this could happen...
At the draft kane gets drafted over and utterly destroys taker then taker hits his head and loses his memory and becomes biker again
or
taker gets drafted to raw and HHH finds him a threat so he beats him up with a sledge hammer but taker returns as biker

I really would like biker Taker back. I watched an old biker match earlier today, and he was so much better, particuarly as a heel.

Taker's feuds are always the same these days:
*Taker is in the middle of a match.
*Someone attacks him and leaves him out cold*
*Next week 'Orton/Henry, ME YOU Summerslam/Wrestlemania...

A medium point much like Undertaker's Judgement Day 2000 return would be cool. He still looks like the Deadman, but dresses in a trenchcoat with a bandanna and MMAs it up in the ring.... without the no-selling and "Bolt 3"-ing.

I think the Walker: Texas Taker version of the Undertaker would have been a whole lot more interesting if the storyline involving Heyman stealing the urn would have lasted a whole lot longer. He could have used Taker to take the WWE Championship and take over Smackdown!.

Personally, heel Biker Taker was my favorite.

At this point in his career, I could honestly give a fuck less. He could start coming out dressed in sweatpants and a wifebeater and I don't think it would make any difference to me. I've lost all interest in the character, and this upcoming feud with Dalip Singh doesn't look like it's going to improve the matter.

Honestly, the best thing for Undertaker to do right now would be to get drafted to RAW after Backlash and turn heel, reforming the Ministry of Darkness and being a truly evil, sadistic, devilish character he once was. Not only could this help some of the younger guys who would join his kliq, but it would refresh The Undertaker as a believable character.

I was thinkin' the same thing. Maybe reform DX and have the new "Ministry" and DX feud. Both would help to start up stables again, something that has been sadly missing from wrestling since the "Monday Night Wars".
