SmackDown Versus 2006 Raw GM MODE
Hello there

I am a new member and I thought I whould make my first post here, as this is a topic, i recently was asked about, and that is how to win, nearly every time on gm mode in svr 2006. I am not trying to brag, but I have never lost at GM mode, in my first season i beat smackdown by 2.5 million fans, second season by 2.9 and third season by 3.3.

I use a certain formulae to this, and it has proved itself over and over

Your stats are impressive, though. I myself never got deep into GM mode. I'm a multiplayer guy.

Kalyx is going to make a Crisis Stable in TPWW's Online League for SvR07! Advertisement for TPWW Judgment Day appears to reveal this information along with a poster with 'Crisis' drawn on it in red paint. Whether or not it'll have all the original members or news are not known.

Crisis Stable?

yes i love tna, because they don't have the soap opera drama that the wwe has recently, or for a long time for that matter, they have all the people I like, especially Daniels and Styles, which are both amazing.

I know SVR 2007 is the talk of the town and the lot, but since its not out yet we can hardly talk about actually playing it :P
although I think this is the last wwe game I buy ( not planning on getting anymore 200-500 dollar game systems that will be obsolete in a year, plus I have to pay for college so I couldn't afford it if I wanted to buy it :P)

so I rather talk about a wrestling game that I and you people can and probabily do play

and yes I am proud I have never lost a gm mode, also my match stats are 237 wins 18 loses, and 4 off the others "draw" I think, then my other stats
Royal Rumble : 6 one match high score,19 I came in number 1 and won it on legend difficulty, that also made me proud
match length stats longest 39 minutes 12 seconds
shortest 6 seconds, (im serious i speared John Cena at the start of the match and pinned him it was funny as hell)
and average is 2 minutes and 34 seconds

anyways I thought I whould also say I love this forum, it took like an hour for four post and it seems someone is always on

To see why Tna is cool this thursday night if you can watch
smackdown on channel 410 on bell express vu
then from 12-1 on channel 628 watch tna impact

and note the difference, in actual talent, and no bullshit storylines and the standard that tna sets for each match, and angle, you will see why its so much better then wwe

LOL. That is the dumbest thing I've read today. TNA still does bullshit storylines, TNA still exalts things other than talent (Why is Jarrett still MEing otherwise?), hires bullshit wrestlers (Hogan and Nash?), and so on. They set no standards (Except their high bar for spotfests), and really are a poor-man's ECW.

also the stupid storylines, such as katie Vic, remember that with Kane
speaking off kanes why is there two, are they trying to pull the same dumb crap as they did by having two takers, look at the state smackdown is, after Rey leaves for injury reasons, they will have 3 main eventers, four in around 30 days with absolutlely no or very little talent.i mean batista, mark henry, khali, and lashley
and it may be the bastard child there i agree, but it took all the people that never got that main event push or never was a big guy (usually these where the wrestlers that i liked , christian for example, and rhyno, also there is so much lightweight talent, daniels, styles , sabin, williams there is no denying these guys have talent

Don't tell me they're actually ECW fans, because ECW fans weren't impressed with WCW. And TNA is very much like WCW.

Still, I actually wish Goldberg would get in there. He'd fit. And I'd watch it.

I understand your gripe with the story lines, but TNA aren't exactly master screen writers themselves.

I don't think WWE's issues are lack of talent. It certainly can't be solved by a spot match.

What's the deal with the announce team? They're garbage.

I never said that TNA is master screen writers, I believe it is good because of the lack of writing. I mean what whould you rather, in the first 20 minutes of TNA you will see two matches usually, or with WWE some guy mouthing off at someone, which usually ends up in the person coming to the ring and declaring a match later that night or at a ppv, im trying to to seem anti-wwe but thats what it made me, i grew up watching it, and am really sad to like another promotion better.

also why is JJ main eventing, in the case that some people don't know is that JJ actually pretty much OWNS Tna, and that is why the people from wcw is there, they are friends of his looking for a job.

also, I don't and never will watch it to see hogan or nash, both of these wrestlers have been past thier prime for 20 years ( or so it seems), and i think the reason like hiring other old, and decripit ( whens the last time nash did anything without hurting himself :P )wrestlers is that they will get old fans and publicity, which TNA needs to be able to contend at all with WWE.

and lastly speaking of ecw, why the hell of all people is Vince bringing it back didn't he try killing it in the first place, and why is paul e working with a man who he used to completely despise.

sorry if it seems im arguing with people I don't want that, but im trying to make my case as to why I as a person prefers TNA over WWEm thats all

TNA seems to do the same thing, only at the end of their shows. Last weeks Smackdown! also hurts your claim.

Justifying a guy who puts himself over because he owns the show is damaging. As far as hiring friends... You don't have to own a promotion to know that's not a wise business decision; especially if these same friends contributed to the fall of WCW, putting them all out of work in the first place.

You just did justify such things, by trumpeting a brand for using talent when it clearly doesn't. In fact, your complaint is one of the exact reasons it's like WWE in the first place.

I have no problems with people liking TNA, but when people use retarded reasons that are blatantly false (The lack of storylines, the pushing of talent instead of the old boy's club, etc.) or do stupid things like tear down WWE to justify how good a subpar company with Jeff Jarrett at the top is (And let's face it kids, saying that TNA is better than WWE is like saying your shit smells better than someone else's), I will shoot down their utter stupidity.

Ok Jarrett, and his cronie, or whatever you may call steiner, is on top because he owns the federation, That isn't Tna promoting talent, thats the owner putting HIMSELF in the spotlight, and putting jarrett in the spotlight, in the reverse of promoting talent. And what I think of as promoting talent, is that tna has people in the spotlight that seems to have some amount of in ring talent, for examples lately, I have been seeing alot of Daniels, Styles, Sabin , Williams, Samoa Joe, Williams,AMW, and others although I can't deny what anyone said in this thread about Tna's amount of older wrestlers that shouldn't be in the spotlight , such as steiner, jarrett, and nash, I also believe they shouldn't be on top, or wrestling for that matter, but they are and I can't change it, so I just wait through it to see the wrestlers I wish to see.

although I can't deny what anyone said in this thread about Tna's amount of older wrestlers that shouldn't be in the spotlight , such as steiner, jarrett, and nash, I also believe they shouldn't be on top, or wrestling for that matter, but they are and I can't change it, so I just wait through it to see the wrestlers I wish to see.
So basically, it's exactly like WWE programming.

Oh, that's right. TNA PUSHES their talent.
While I still prefer Tna, I never said that WWE doesn't have its fair share of talent, Its the storylines I don't like. And WWE does push their talent, but usually not to the main event status, usually if someone gets a push, it seems they are mid-carder at best, and they hardly ever get a main event spot. While most of the wrestlers I like are mid-carders, I really wish they would get a main event push.

As for the wrestlers you have listed
MNM- they could do without Melina, which I see as A very loud high pitched screaming piece of eye candy, otherwise MNM is (or were ) cool.

Burchill - Is awesome, he's a pirate, and seems that he has great potential, but he's only a mid-carder, still cool though, I enjoy his matches, and promos.

Carlito - he, he's just cool (done in Carlito's Accent), he should have won the title at the Rumble.

Kennedy - I haven't seen much of this guy yet, but my friend says he's amazing, and usually he can spot good wrestlers.

...Kennedy - Not sure what you mean by this, or if it's a typo.

Lashley - While cool looking, appears to have not as good talent as the wrestlers you listed above or below. His matches seem to be squashes, and he does alot of power moves, and little chain wrestling. And from what I have heard is that he has trouble getting over with the fans. He's still awesome though, but he reminds me of maybe lesner, or goldberg in wrestling comparison.

Kendrick and london - just one thing to say on them, they FINALLY got the titles

Funny, you said "actual talent" and "No bullshit storylines" are your reasons to like TNA. "Actual talent" directly indicates that the "Other Guy" doesn't have it.

He's an excellent performer, not the best wrestler though. Still solid, but he's closer to the Rock than Benoit.

Lesnar being one of the most genuinely talented wrestlers in the business over the last few years, I fail to see how that's a bad thing. Wayne Brady Bobby Lashley is the real deal, a guy with a legit martial arts/competive background who is capable of solid in-ring performance. The only problem is he's pretty poor on the mic 99% of the time.

Lesnar's mostly booked in squash matches, but that doesn't make him any less talented (Or solid, Goldberg LOOKED sloppy even in squashes).
