Twisted Metal 2. With Mario Kart 64 a close second.

Mario Kart on the SNES still rules to this day. Mario Kart DS is a close second, followed by Burnout 3.

The best racing game(s) is the Gran Turismo series, bar none.
Honourable mentions to: Live for Speed 2, Need For Speed Series, Outrun, Burnout Series (fun factor anyway) Sega Rally 2, Daytona, Street Rod Series (My personal Favorites), wacky wheels, and micro machines. All Different, and all excellent in their own ways. Last edited by Bad Company; 06-16-2006 at 02:24 AM. |

GT is awesome, but your right about it getting old, I'm 60% through and havent played it in months. But for sheer racing, cars, tracks, graphics, modifications (although Live for speed is more advanced, and NFS is more rice), you can't go past it. |

A couple of underrated one I just remembered: Sled Storm for the PS1, and Downhill Domination for PS2.

Burnout 3. Perhaps the next one will be better, but four was a step back. Great action game.
