no.3 Chris Masters: Masters is well known for his Master Lock Challenges. He was succesfull in fainting top wwe "SUPERSTARS" like Slaughter, Benjamin, Rey Mysterio, HBK and even Kurt Angle. He was a part of the Survivor Series Elimination match back in 2005 which feat, talents from Raw and SMACKDOWN! as opponents. He even entered the Elimination Chamber on his birthday in Jan.06. Even faced Show and Kane at Mania for the tag titles. Had a healthy rivalry with Carlito which led to a match at Backlash.
Although Masters's success rate is awful. He has almost lost 70% of all his matches if the Master Lock challenges are not included. He has been pinned by Mysterio, Super Crazy, Santino and his hyped Master Lock got broke by a retired army sarge Franklin.

n0.2 Carlito: He was the coolest guy on SD! defeating Cena in his debut match to win the U.S title. Further on winning the IC title on his Raw debut.
He main evented Survivor Series, New Years Revolution and even got a shot at the Tag Team gold at Mania XXII. But after Backlash the Cool dude lost all the attention in the world. Once thought will win the Royal rumble 07 sunk bad. Finally turning heel did not help him much as it was one of the most horrible heel turns ever. He used to Tag in with Flair which made Flair the more imp guy and he seemed to be sided. He is being look forward to tap out at Judgement Day so Flair can enter the HOF next year and destroy one more cool talent.

n0.1 Benoit: Chris had been one of Smackdown! top talents back in 02,03 and 04. He went on to win his first Wwe World title at Mania. After that he
was sided from the main event cause Mr.Paul had a very old and more important rivalry going on with Mr.Hickenbottom. Finally lost the title at SummerSlam to Randy Orton and so he could beat Lensnar's record. Benoit got some improper main event matches and finally he was packed back to smackdown! where he was transformed back to a mid carder where he would run around chasing the U.S.title, which is quite frankly a shame and disguist to a let such a talent be pissed upon.

While Masters isn't the most talented wrestler in the world and Carlito certainly hasn't done himself any favours, I just can't understand how there have been so many periods recently where WWE has lacked credible main event talent but has completely neglected to give Benoit that push. He is over, has a great gimmick, has credibility and can take the pressure. Added to that he can produce five star main event matches to any PPV.

Although I think Benoit would be of use in the Main Event scene I wouldn't really say he has been pissed upon.

He's always been booked pretty solidly in WWF/E. He came in as a Mid Carder, had some excellent fueds (Jericho, Angle) around the IC Belt level, got pushed up the card in 2000 to see how he stuck, eventually won the Rumble and won the WHC in the Main Event of WrestleMania. Granted his title run was eclipsed by HHH/HBK but he still had a pretty good run up there. His programmes now around the US Title (although beneath him IMO) is excellent. He has been booked strongly and his current fued with MVP has been a highlight of not only SmackDown! but also on the last 2 PPVs. I think he'll get a big push towards the Main Event in the coming months. He's had a pretty good run considering his "limitations".

You want pissed on? I'd say Jericho was more pissed on.

You want short changed? Look at Johnny Nitro. I'd say he's had a worse time than Masters or Carlito.

You know what, he may have some very valid points, but my eyes want to bleed just looking at what he wrote. It's not too much to ask that someone express themselves with something resembling actual language?

Masters has had more exposure and more of a push than he has ever deserved. The only time he's ever been over with the crowd was feuding with Carlito, and then he was only riding Carlito's charisma.


I love Carlito, but honestly, he's lucky WWE hasn't wished him luck in his future endeavors. I'm not saying he should be fired, but he's had a lot of heat on him for his attitude, and the fact that he's on TV at all is pretty damn good.


As for Benoit, this isn't anything that hasn't been said before, and I still disagree. He had a strong run with the title, beating two of WWE's biggest guys EVER, TWICE, had a good solid match with Kane which he won by simply outwrestling him and overcoming the size difference, and it was all capped off with a good and respectable drop to Orton (what happened after has nothing to do with Benoit.) There may come a day when Benoit is the choice for a main event feud (Edge vs Benoit will be SWEET while Batista goes on to feud with Henry) but he isn't a guy who can carry the company, or even a brand.

Johnny Nitro hasn't been around that long. He's still to pay his dues. As do Masters and Carlito.

But I think the fact that Cena, Khali etc. are main eventing PPVs in a fed which boasts talent such as Benoit is scandalous.

Jericho had MANY main event runs. While it should have been more, he was in the main event far longer that Benoit.

Nitro has been given half the chances a guy like Masters has. I leave Carlito out cos he's pretty awesome and has had a pretty shitty ride.

But Masters has been pushed from day 1. He rarely gets any reaction from the crowd. No reaction is worse than 'X-Pac Heat' yet he still gets pushed. Even at the points where management were down on him they had him on Raw. He might have been jobbing but at least he was a Raw jobber.

Nitro came in as a lackey for Bishcoff, went on to become one half of propabaly the best tag team in the last 3 years (at least) before moving back to Raw as a singles star. Had a great few months fueding over the IC Title in that 4 Way fued they booked. Held his own and managed to get heel heat against John Cena in the fued with K-Fed. He got heel heat AGAINST Cena for fricks sake! Had some good matches in an entertaining fued with Jeff Hardy. Then got bumped from Raw to become a jobber on Internet-only show Heat.

Hardly seems fair considering most people hate Masters work, that he stuck on Raw, whilst Nitro, who most seem to think would have a shot as a Main Event heel gets to run tag matches on Heat.

I also think Shelton Benjamin is someone who gets pissed on. The guy is talented and the match he had with HHH and HBK a while back convinced me he could main event someday (in-ring wise, mic skills still need work). He held the IC title for a while and now what? Why the hell he wasn't in this year's MITB match is beyond me given his last two outings in it. But nope, he's back with Haas as the WGTT with their team going nowhere. What a waste...

And there's always going to be cases where we think someone is being pissed on or held back and they deserve pushes but that problem with that is that it ends up with everyone deserving a push. It doesn't necessarily make the product bad.

Shelton is definitely a guy who got pissed on. He had a great run as a fantastic athlete, a no-nonsense guy who was heaping credibility on the IC title... and they turn him into a "mama's boy" and hire some old woman to follow him around. He was the king of the Raw midcard, and now they can't even decide if he's singles or tag team material.

He had it all going for him. They tease a feud between himself and Austin. It looked like RVD would be the guy to stand up to Austin and humiliate him. Then what do they do? They have RVD take orders from Austin and become another drone of his.

Booker comes in as the last WCW Champion and they treat him as if was just some random guy off the street. He gets humiliated by Rock AND gets jobbed left and right.

I nearly mentioned those 2 as well.

I think RVD lost a lot of sympathy due to what happened when he eventually did get the big push. But you are right, they should have pushed him to the moon as soon as they got him. A guy like RVD came with a fanbase already in place and he's the kinda flashy wrestler that won't ever find it hard to get new fans on board. Austin v RVD would have been a money fued if they weren't so scared to follow the crowds lead.

With Booker winning the WHC last year I think most have cooled off on his mishandling by WWE. However, that win came at a time when it was a little too late and bearing in mind they have 3 World Championships now it doesn't hold that much credibility. He should have won the WHC at WrestleMania 19 and should have been used much better for most of his WWE tenure.

Man, i've said this since day one and will still say it: It is the WWE's own fault for why Cena has been champion for almost 2 years...here are some of my examples...

Jericho being used as a punk during his undisputed title reign: I have liked Chris Jericho since his stinct in WCW, but i'm not a MARK like some on here. HOWEVER, the guy was BIG and was bigger than i expected him to be when he came to the WWF/E. Like, that shit was so big for a person who came from WCW that they had to push him. If played right, he would have been IMO the biggest heel on RAW or Smackdown!, that being whatever brand he wrestled for. Remember, i'm NOT a Jericho mark, but even i saw the possibilities. (Could you imagine an Edge/Jericho/Nitro or Carlito faction?... )

HHH: While i respect the man being one of the most memorable heel figures in WWE history, i do NOT respect the antics and Booker T was one of those times where i really wished his injuries upon him. Booker T was so hot right then, but they made him look so fucking un-credible to be champion. Jericho is another example, as well as some other stars. If they needed HHH to "save the WWE", they should have at least tried to switch some things up instead of RAW is HHH every monday. I'm not saying keep him out of the main event scene, but OUT of the title scene at SOME point.

WRESTLEMANIA, EVER SINCE 20, HAS LOST ITS "MEMORABLE" FEELING IN MAIN EVENTS: We pretty much know the line up: Face wins rumble, goes on to beat heel at Wrestlemania. Then comes the emotions, fireworks, etc. COME ON! Remember Angle v. Lesnar, Rock v. Austin I & II, etc. This is why they need to have an Orton v. Cena match (if Cena is still in the title scene) or Orton v. Kennedy. If there wasn't a better time to get Orton back to that status he was in before, then the time is NOW (or at least by Survivor Series make him look like it). Orton with the stuff he's been through and done, it would mean something a bit. There could be different fueds, but make it have a story behind it.

The IC belt has been treated pretty much like WCW's tv title near its end. That title alone has brought so much greatness to the business, its not even funny. Just because you are the WWE champion, that doesn't mean you are the most interesting thing on TV (look at Austin v. Rock's IC fued or Michaels v. Ramon's IC fued. That belt needs to be put in place to MAKE THE STARS OF TOMORROW like it had done previous years. It is disgusting how easy this can be fixed.

Shelton B: Frankly it annoys me how often JR say it, but Shelton Benjamin really is one of the most athletic guys in the WWE. I really can't understand why they turned him heel. he got a great rub from HHH and Jericho which really helped build him up. just a real shame.

Johnny Nitro: Fuck it, Nitro's awesome. He has great mic work, is a really good wrestler, held the IC title very well, and now, he's doing nothing. They've really dropped the ball with Nitro.

Charlie Haas: I guess I see that Charlie Haas has his flaws, but seriously, this guy can go. Reminds me of Benoit. I really liked him when he was tagging with Rico but now he's just gone completely offthe radar.

Billy Kidman: They built him up so well after he fucked up against Chavo Guerrero. I thought he was doing great. They had a match with him against Paul London, then he just dissappeared.

Val Venis: We all know the position Val venis is in now. I think Val Venis is most comparable in the WWE to HHH. Yet we all know where trips is, and where Val is. I'm not trying to say Val venis should be a 16 time world champ, but surely he's better than a HEAT jobber.
