Someones Explain RSS To Me.
I have Firefox (2+) and I know what RSS feeds are, but I mean I'm just not really used to them
What is the best setup for recieving them, and are they really worth it? ![]() #bestintheworld #allhailtheking MY WORKRATE > YOUR WORKRATE ![]() SIX STARS | STRONG STYLE | SIX STARS Quote:

I personally use Google Reader. Works really well and is a pretty nice design.
I think it's worth it. I have a lot of feeds and am always adding more. It saves time in that you only have to go to one site to read x number of sites/blogs/comics/podcasts/whatever. I was a bit weary on RSS when I got into it about a year ago. Went though Sage RSS and a few other Firefox addons but I didn't really like them (Firefox by itself is worse). Then I tried GR and I visit it multiple times daily now and really can't see going back to web sites only. |

RSS is really worth it if you go to a place that updates alot, you can just click over to the feed and see all the updates at once.
Also, I use the one that's in IE7, but that doesn't apply to you

Break this down for me. RSS feeds are what, news headlines you click on for the story?

RSS feeds are either just the headlines or the entire story/blog. Most commonly the latter as long as you have the right program/service. GR and Sage does the whole thing if it's available. As far as I know browsers only do the headlines.
