QUESTION - How would YOU book the whole Trish/Christian/Jericho storyline?

QUESTION - How would YOU book the whole Trish/Christian/Jericho storyline?

So - it's obvious that Jericho and Christian are headed for a collision course at Wrestlemania. Question is - how would you book the storyline? From my standpoint, Christian needs Trish Stratus a helluva lot more than Chris Jericho to stay over. One could make an arguable point that Christian would basically end up like Test (or Matt Hardy for that matter) without a valet/manager.

Therefore - perhaps having Trish 'screw over' Jericho at Mania (and showing her allegience/vagina to Christian) would be the best for all parties.

1) Christian "stays over" as a heel due to having Trish as a manager.

2) Because Victoria is a face now, Trish 'balances' the turn.

3)Trish, as a heel, would be at potential odds with Stacy Kiebler and Miss Jackie (i.e. lots of penises shall erect

-).

4) Jericho arguably becomes a bigger face (since the fans would feel sorry for Jericho). Jericho could take like two weeks off, and then come back with a vengeance! Jericho could use his old material on Trish Stratus (similar material that he used with Stephanie McMahon).

But then again, perhaps most fans are sappier than I give credit. Perhaps they will "weep with joy" as Jericho and Trish make-out with one another at Mania. Maybe Jericho and Trish will become the new Savage/Elizabeth?

My real beef in having Jericho/Trish as an item, is it makes Jericho look like a girly-man. It's bad enough that he has long blonde hair as it is. In a day and age where people 'look up' to the loner badass type character that don't take shit from no-one (i.e. Cena, Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, etc.,), I think Trish's alliance with Jericho could be more counterproductive than anything.

What's your opinion?

This has honestly been the storyline I have followed the most in the past few weeks. So it's deserving that I do place my opinion here. I think that they will go with the Trish and Jericho together angle based on what Corky told me a few weeks back saying that the WWE hired people who are like soap opera writers. That's the angle I know they are going to do. However, the angle I would like for them to do is to yes turn Trish on Jericho because this will make Jericho a stronger face. I personally think that having Trish as a valet will hold Jericho back in the midcard. But if Trish turns on him, he has this little feud with Christian and Trish that will end at backlash, I think Jericho will be put as the #1 face of RAW. That's not to take anything back from Benoit or Shawn Michaels. But Michaels is (or should be) out with a knee injury and Benoit can carry the load of the title, but I think he needs to say after he wins the title is "screw the fans, I didn't need any of you" The heel turn begins and then the countdown begins. Jericho calls Benoit an assclown, takes the side of the fans and the Jericho/Benoit war begins. This all happens after Benoit wins the title at Backlash and Jericho beats Christian at Backlash.

What this gives us:

Possibly the freshest WWE Championship match that does not involve a KLIQ member.

Jericho gets elevated as a main event face

Benoit makes the coveted heel turn that I have been wanting him to do for months (he sucks as a face, plus he could say he used the fans to allow this to happen)

Christian and Trish will stay in the mid-card but could always cause Jericho problems during his feud with Benoit

However,

I will space my sentences. (unlike your prior post that's half a frickin page of text)

I will talk of Aligning Jericho and Stacy ( but only if that happens to be my opinion)

The subject of balled up T-shirts hitting anyone in the crotch is unlikely to ever come up again, however I did say that, no I don't want that, and yes I think that would be a ridiculous waste of RAW time and talent.

Anything I chuck on these message boards shouldn't be subject to 'F*^* OFF AND DIE' responses because you don't agree with my opinions.

If Jericho gets dumped by Trish for Christian, it makes Jericho look like a punk, I dont think anyone would have sympathy for him. Did Test get over huge when he got snaked out of Stephanie?

Plus, why would Trish go with Christian after he leaid her out with a viscous clothesline on RAW?

I think the way to go is to have Jericho and Trish get together. Whats good about them as a team is that Trish is a good worker, and they can have storng mixed tag matches together. Christian can play off like he never wanted Trish and then maybe hook up with Gail Kim or something, and they can fued with Trish and Jericho.

Obviously at some point there has to be a turn with Jericho and Trish, but I dont think that needs to happen for some time (at least a year). At one time I thought it would be interesting to make Trish a heel, but honestly I dont think she's make a good heel. The one area that she is not very good at yet is cutting a really strong promo, and without that I dont see fans booing her. I mean she's hot, she's a good worker, so why would people boo her?

I agree, they should stay together. But, they need to let Jericho actually be Jericho. This sappy shit needs to end. They can be together, and not be so soap operaish. Y2J got over in 99-00 by being the cocky, shit talker. He doesn't do enough of that now. I guess somebody decided that Y2J shouldn't be a given a mic.

I think I know how this match can work.

Within the next few weeks on RAW, Jericho does a couple things that really pisses off Trish, (i.e. accidently hit her, flirt with another woman, etc.) and get her to turn on him and go with Christian before Wrestlemania.

Jericho and Christian have their match at Wrestlemania. Trish accompanies Christian to the ring, and gets lots of heel heat. Jericho gets some babyface pops. After a long struggle, Jericho defeats Christian. Trish comes the Christian's aid, but Jericho somehow humiliates Trish in front of everyone, (i.e. takes off her clothes, gets her covered in something, etc.) and gets a huge pop from the crowd.

I dont know how i would work this... i think both ways would be good for each one, possibly have it Trish come to the ring w/ Jericho making it look like shes 100% with him and then towards the end of the match have Trish like trip him( but still have Jericho win.. maybe christian goes for the schoolboy pin..
