How do u use a movie splitter program?

I've got FX movie splitter so I can split full length divX movies. But, after I've split them and saved them to a different folder, I try to play it and the sounds all ****ed. Is there any way I can rectify this. I would'nt have a clue what to do?

if no one can help me, could someone tell me another way to split the divx file so i can burn it onto VCD.

Thanks for the help.

Also what i usually do with xvid/divx movies with the help of vcdhelp.com is i use virtualdub to load the file i want to convert to vcd. I load the .avi file in virtualdub and save the file as a .wav file only( so only the sound is exported). Then i load the .avi file in TMPG and then i load the .wav file in the audio section. So the video section in TMPG = .avi file audio section in TMPG = .wav file( exported from virtualdub).. load the vcd template and click on start to start the conversion process!

Works all the time for me. no failures at all.
