Unless the WWE is desperate to keep Golberg if Lesnar leaves. I can see them telling Goldberg he will be fueding with Angle for the title to make him happy so he resigns. The WWE probably feels they need to keep Goldberg if Lesnar is truly leaving. Smackdown will truly be lacking in star power if Lesnar leaves, so resigning Goldy and putting him on Smackdown would be their way of solving it.

Well, Goldie won, but Eddie won too, and you know his feud with Kurt is only just beginning. This is way too hot to be dropped, and you can have a great angle with this.
