Why can't I hate on Beniot's boring ass?
Everyone else gets to crap on HHH, why can't I crap on Beniot, no mater how unpopular my opinion is. BTW, Raw ratings are going to go way down anything how.

But he doesn't. Besides ppvs, when is the last time beniot has put on a truely great preformance in the ring. And don't give me that "how can anyone have a good match in 5 minutes" bullshit. There have been some great 5 minute matches. He has been in some great 5 minute matches, but just not recently. It is all punch, chop, chop, chop, rolling german to rolling german to rolling german, flyinghead butt, attempted crossface, but opponet roles free, opponet gets in some offence, then crossface out of nowhere, and then Beniot wins. That is all the matches I've seen from him since he came back from surgery.

Personally, I can't think of one good 5-minute match, much less a great one. As for Benoit's matches being predicatble, what about the Rock? Or Rob Van Dam? Or any number or wrestlers with "trademark spots" that they use in every match? Your whole point of singling out Benoit for his weak TV matches is horseshit, because that's pretty much what EVERY wrestler's TV performances are.

His match with Shawn on RAW was incredible, even if the ending pissed people off. His match with Brock was good in december too. And having a match only last 5 minutes is a valid excuse for it not being great, so don't try and say it isn't. Matches are capable of being good in 5 minutes. But you will never see a 5star classic match that only lasts 5 minutes? What do you mean besides PPV's? Thats kind of a stupid thing to say...

btw, last week raw had a rating of 3.8. I expect tomorrow to either hold that, or go up because everyone wants to know what happened at Wrestlemania, week after next is when it will start to fall.

Because Benoit is popular, so your disagreement with the norm makes people want to flame you. You also remind people of Dark Kane for ripping a very athletically talented technical wrestler. Even though you have a valid excuse (he's boring... and I can see where you might say that), most people will think that you suck anyway. Therefore, while you are free to say you hate him, everyone else is free to say they hate you for hating him, because most people love him.

Yeah I understand that, but still my last thread on the same topic got deleted. I'm just saying that my opinion should be just as valid as anyone else and I should get one thread to voice my opinion. Its not like I'm making a million threads about hating Beniot, and wishing all sort of harm to him and nasty death. I just want to say I hate him and I think WWE made a bad desision.

Oh, yeah, Benoit's dull and boring, because God knows the ability to cut a promo is the only thing that makes a wrestler any good. I mean, that's why Bret Hart (and the rest of the Hart Foundation for that matter, except Owen), Terry Funk, Harley Race, Rey Mysterio Jr., Andre the Giant, Big Van Vader, Rob Van Dam, Jimmy Snuka, and countless others all got over; based on their mic skills, not on anything else they ever did. Right?

I mean, in the past 14 months, Benoit's had three matches that the crowd (the marks, mind you, who make up a vast majority of the viewing audience) have given him a standing ovation simply for being that good. I can't think off the top of my head any other wrestler that's even had one match (that wasn't in their hometown) get a genuine standing O.

So the guy can't cut a promo. Then DON'T GIVE HIM PROMO SEGMENTS! Just because he doesn't do all the soap opera circus bullshit WWE is so keen on doesn't make him a boring wrestler.

Firstly, RVD can cut a decent promo. And as for everyone but RVD and Rey, they are all old school wrestlers, and the game has changed alot from their days. Beniot would have made a great champ in their day. Also have any of those guy sold out the Silverdome....who did that...yeah thats right, Hogan did. The worst wrestler ever. But by and large the only time Beniot puts on good matches is at ppvs. On regular tv, he sucks. If he only wants to pull out the stops one a month, why should he be champion. Yes I know the same can be said for a lot of others, and guess what, I agree with it on them too. Plus WWE hasn't been about wrestling since wrestlemainia one, it is about the soap opera circus bullshit.

As for Invisible and you other jobbers, get over 500 postes, then you can talk shit on me.

Hi people, im new here and i was just searching through this thread and ahd to reply to it.
Basically, put yourself in benoit's position for a second BDC, youve been working in the business for 18 years or so and you finally get a wwe title and finally you get what youve worked for all your life, after countless tries and finally you get there and now all of a sudden you get critics like you shitting on all those efforts.Those are just minor faults your pointing out which are no different to any other wrestler in the wwe at the mo, so why are you singling out someone who's worked for a long-ass time in the business put his heart and life into it and not singling out someone like,i dunno erm The big show?I respect you have a right to your opinion, but i think the majority along with me think your opinion on benoit is a pile of bullshit.
Btw i also thought wrestlemania was a dissapointment, besides the main event and eddie vs angle.

eddie guerero got a standing O as a heel after jobbing to edge a couple of years ago. what is boring to me about chris benoit is that every time he has a match, I know before hand that it is going to end in the cross face. thats how all his matches end. i have an ameteur wrestling background, myself and i appreciate his skills and his matches are among the best. but its always all about the crippler cross face, and that is boring.
also, given the fact that he cannot cut a promo, there is going to be a disconnect between him and the fans. personally, i think his character should be a sadistic heel rather than a centimental face.

Oh, and I'm not trying to rip on BDC, because he does have some pretty valid points. I just so happen to disagree with him on most levels.

True, in most instances, sports-entertainment massively out-draws purist wrestling. I'll freely admit that, champion or not, Benoit's probably never going to bring in the same numbers as Ausin or Rocky. But the fact remains, he's far and away the most over guy on Raw right now (barring the Rock and Foley), and if WWE really is supposedly going to adopt a more submission-based psyschology heavy style, there's really no one better to lead the way than him.

And yeah, Benoit's TV matches largely consist of the same spots repeatedly, but like I said before, that applies to just about the entire WWE roster. And anyways, it's getting over pretty huge. The surprise pop he gets for the Crossface is starting to get a lot like the way the crowd popped when DDP hit the Diamond Cutter. The Rolling Germans are getting pretty over, too. Still, it would be nice if he'd incorporate more of his moveset into the regular matches (like the Northern Lights or that AWESOME Powerbomb he does every once in a blue moon)

Never, ever compare anything to the Diamond Cutter, that is simply the most amazing finisher ever. The Diamond cutter makes everything else look like freshly pooped crap on week old crap. The diamond cutter was quick, agile, explosive, and at times awe-isnpiring. It could be incredably discrutive and hit from nowhere. He could do it in the middle of the ring, BANG, top rope, BANG, damn near brake Tank Abbot's neck, BANG, as his opponet is beating the shit out of him, BANG, while you are being intamite with your wife, BANG, you are enjoying a nice pepsi, BANG diamond cutter. The crossface looks all clumsy and crappy when compared to the diamond cutter. Plus, a good impact finisher looks better than any submission (though submission have a fair more effective psychological shock which is lost to most marks).

I enjoy a good psychological match more than most anyone, but Beniot is to forumlamatic, Rhyno has a better psychological game in 5 minutes that Beniot does in 10.

Sloppy-looking or not, the Crosface is still massively over as a finisher, and like the Diamond Cutter, he can hit it out of just about anything and the crowd will give a monster pop. That was the point I was getting at. (BTW, the Diamond Cutter was easily one of my favorite finishers)

Benoit rules. Sure he has no charisma and cut a good promo if his life depended on it but he is one of the best wrestler the WWE has.

With the exception to Angle and Guerrero, no one can come to close to being as technically sound as him
