Saw this yesterday.

I figured that the regular commercials would be phased out to the bottom of the screen advertising, which is obviously not skippable, and I really don't mind it. But when they start this bullshit of fucking with the show (as if it's a big "Fuck You" to DVR owners) or taking up 1/2+ of the screen it's unacceptable.

I think very soon we're going to see much more of this while they test the waters. I think within 5 or so years they'll be pushing bottom of the screen advertising and especially product placement much more. It's already happening, but they need to perfect it. This is the kind of shit that repels viewers.

TBS needs to accept their identity. They show movies and syndicated tv shows. Everyone watches them for that and probably always will. It's a solid niche, and there's nothing wrong with it. STOP TRYING TO MAKE YOUR OWN SHOWS THAT SUCK

Also, TBS isn't the only channel that does that overdone advertising at the bottom of the screen like this. Just about every channel does it now
