Question What is the Worst Album you have ever bought?
I come to this question after listening to Electric Light Orchestra's "Out of the Blue" album, which is pretty much the epitome of "style over substance." I bought this album because I constantly had "Mr Bue Sky" playing over and over again in my head, and therefore hoped that it would be an album full of equally decent songs, which is rather foolish. It is the biggest bag of rancid wank since I bought Jethro Tull's "Catfish Rising" album, 4 years ago, and I pretty much went and traded that album the next day at Vinyl Exchange.

Anyways, what is the worst album you have ever bought (either as a cd, vinyl, cassette, or mp3 download)?

Three way toss up between Killers Hot Fuzz, Limp Bizkit Significant Other and Korn's Issues. Falling Away From Me isnt bad and Trash is decent, but the rest of that CD is just awful.

I dunno, "St. Anger" has gawd-awful production and most songs don't amount to much, but it is far more entertaining than "Out of the Blue," which is largely skipable.

I forgot about Coal Chamber's "Chamber Music." Christ, there is some real rancid shit on that record.

DANGERDOOM was a solid album. I expect more from Dangermouse and DOOM but seriously how could it possibly be the worst album you have ever bought... have you only purchased one album in your life.

The worst album I have ever bought is that album by Seal that had kiss from a rose or St Anger by Metallica.

Tubthumping was an incredible album. The actual song Tubthumper isn't even that great compared to the other songs on it. Like The Good Ship Lifestyle. And the weird obscure samples that play at the end of every song.
