iMovie

Okay, for my Graphics Arts class, we have to use this program called "iMovie" and create a "music video." The only problem is, I don't understand how to directly use this program, and the help program is false advertisement. What I need to REALLY know right now, is how to change the length of a clip, because I can only make it about five seconds, and that is MUCH too long. Can someone help please?

Thanks. At the moment, he was trying to install iMovie v4.0, but he screwed it up, and I can't even use iMovie on my computer now.

Do you have to use Imovie? Also what kinda music video do you need to make? If you do not haev to use imovie there are many other programs you can use that will do the trick( programs would have to be used on a windows computer not apple)
