Windows 7
Just out of curiosity, does anybody here use Windows 7? More specifically, has anyone switched over a PC from Vista to Windows 7?

I'm interested to know how painful of a process the conversion would be.

Windows 7 is great. Definitely get it.

You can upgrade over Vista and it shouldn't be a problem at all really and should be fairly easy, but you SHOULD just back up all of your data on an external HD or a few DVDs and do a "clean install," wiping out everything and starting fresh. Will be way faster/better.

Good deal, thanks for the info on that. Never really done a op system upgrade before as I usually end up getting a new computer before one comes out.

I'll definitely check this out.

Yeah, always back up shit you want even if doing an upgrade. But yeah Windows 7 is great, and you should definitely be using it.
