Who was the last wrestler to use a Bear Hug as a finisher? I can't think of one......

Lesnar probably. The "Brock Lock". Used it on Hogan and a few others and I think became a seldom-used finisher.

Brock Lock was also the name of his stretch muffler.

When did he call his bearhug the Brock Lock? I only remember the stretch muffler being called that

I'm fairly certain they called it that at least once. Was probably before he started using the Muffler, though.

Hmm, looked into it and OWW has it listed like this

The Brock Lock (Sitting Leg Muffler)

Maybe thats the mix up?

As far as I know, Rollermacka is correct. Henry used it for awhile to make sure he solidified himself as the most boring in ring competitor of our modern era.

Brock using the bear hug was nothing special. I preferred the Brock Lock.

Mark Henry and Brock Lesnar instantly came to mind. And I think Xero had it right. The Bear Hug Lesnar used was referred to as the "Brock Lock," but he stopped using it and gave the name to his Stretch Muffler.
