I support the idea of a new title design. The classics are great and everything, but I think the WWE should be moving forward in their idea of designs - not backwards. I think that if they really worked at it and put the task to talented designers who have a strong knowledge base of great championship belts from history (wrestling, boxing, ultimate fighting, etc), they could come up with something truly great that could represent the new era of the WWE.

But the spinner belt HAS to go. Even Cena has publicly degraded it.

I was thinking more along the lines of particular shoelaces.

Last time they tried that... they got rid of the Women's title and came up with the butterfly Diva's championship.

Might be best to revert.

What's wrong with giant bronze belts that look like 2p coins?

Go with the Undisputed design, since it was actually a counter-point to the Big Gold Belt at one point.

If and when WWE switches their logo to the new WWE Network logo, they'll probably get a new belt. Fingers crossed.

I didn't even think of that. If the network logo really is the new company logo (which it probably is) they pretty much have to get a new belt.

Or just switch out the logos.

I agree the US title is nothing but the WWF light heavyweight title with red, white, and blue on it.

And them ugly tag team titles got to go. Bring the tag team titles WWE use for the Raw brand

Surprised no one said: "This one, but make teh belly spin!"

I would rather a new WWE Championship belt than an older design. If they go with a new logo for the WWE Network, that seems like a great time to debut a new title design. Perhaps at WrestleMania XXVIII?
