Its supposed to be the more vicious and angry version of Balor even though nothing about him really changes. Guess he stops being a goofball or only caring about having fun but that's pretty much it.

Not even NXT developed a split persona for his Demon form.

He is undefeated as Demon Balor in WWE/NXT

There is really no other difference other than his entrance is a bit cooler.

Balor = Axel/Dallas
Demon = B Team

Slight change = undefeated and perceived as much better

They made his body paint a lot more cartoony than when he debuted in NXT it was badass than and it covered at least the front of his chest and went down his back when he debuted on RAW he had alternate a bit there wasn't as much of it and he covered his self with the name Demon King just to drive the point home because Vince is an idiot

Pretty much although he also wears a headdress.

The WWE comic about Balor did a better job explaining the Demon stuff and its origin than WWE ever did. Still came off as a bit dumb in the end since Balor rarely invokes it.
