Award goes to D-Train, but Rocket should have his 8th.

Chris Carpenter.
I would've said Pedro if he had a few more wins. He can thank the Mets lineup for that. |

This award isn't about the pitcher's team

You said, essentially, you'd vote for Pedro if the Mets lineup was better. This award is about who has pitched the best this year

My heart goes to Carpenter. (ex Jay) But I see the nod going to D-Train. Solid choices, all of them.

Carpenter has quite amazing stats, but I just have a thing for Pedro. It seemed like everytime he went out there this year he just dominated. He brought the Mets back into legitmacy, kind of.

Ugh, this one was too hard....I ultimately said Pedro. The reason I say Pedro is because I saw every one of his 31 starts this year, and so I've seen first hand just how dominant the guy was. I think he only had 2 bad starts all year. He was definately the stopper of the Mets, and without him they wouldn't have been anywhere near as good as they were this year, IMO.
I know he has no chance at winning because the voters seem to like deciding based on wins alone, and I know everyone will assume my vote is biased no matter my reasoning, but it's my honest opinion and I'm sticking to it. |

IMO Pedro has not gotten near enough credit. He's been a little better than Carpenter this year. Bt yeah, Clemens
