The most surprising team in my predictions would be Memphis, but after looking some depth charts today I think they are a pretty solid team. They have a back court consisting of Damon Staudamire and Eddie Jones (two great three point shooters), Bobby Jackson (former sixth man of the year), Shane Battier (great defender), and Mike Miller (overall good swing man).

Then Pau, while no KG or Duncan, is a solid post player, better then average, they also have some guys who aren't great but have good size at center. I think they could surprise some people, the main thing going against them is that they are in a division with Houston and San An.

I think just about everybody in the lottery (and a few more) have a good shot at being pretty good, but they could also be little impact as well. With Danny Granger, you just know he is going to be solid, not a superstar but he will fit in. I could see him being ROY, because I don't think Bogut, Paul, Felton, and the other guys are going to be great right off the bat.

The great thing about the Blazers is that you cant honestly say atleast one person on that team isnt high when they play a regular season game. If someone told me my life depended on the Portland Trailblazers sobriety, I would grab the gun and go ahead and kill myself.

Yeah, no way in hell it turns out this way, but I figure "What the hell? Why not give it a shot." Western Conference is crazy strong this year, and I think, believe it or not, there's an outside chance that the Spurs may not even make the playoffs if they suffer even one key injury.

Rectal, the "Jail Blazers" have been dispanded. Sheed is on Detroit, Bonzi on Sacramento, Damon on Memphis.

Besides Darius Miles I don't think people on their team have had problems in the past.

The Blazers will always have problems.

Take the Qyntel Woods situation, for example. And how about Zach Randolph gaining tons of weight over the summer.

Don't even get me started on Miles. I could completely destroy the Blazers creditability and not even mention Miles. Mentioning Miles would destroy it, kill it, ressurect it and then kill it again.

I would much rather have Randolph then Wallace and Miles is no worse then Bonzi attitude wise. You'd have to go to China to find a basketball team without some attitude problem. The Blazers simply aren't nearly as bad as they used to be.

If Ndudi Ebi can't be designated for assignment then the new CBA isn't complete yet. I'm not just saying that because he is on the Wolves, because I didn't like taking him to begin with and I don't like the Wolves chances anyway, but you should be able to designate a player after two years as well, maybe to Europe or Austrailia instead of the D-League, but somewhere.

Or Detroit. And if anyone says Rasheed Wallace, I'll know they haven't watched basketball in the last two years.

I really dont see age playing a factor in San Antonio, loopy. They are still in their prime and have a deep bench to keep minutes off the older/more fatiued players to keep them fresher longer.

And they had injuries last year.

Hell, Duncan played the entire playoffs with two sprained ankles.

Nov. 1 cant come soon enough.

JJ Redick! He's unathletic, awful defensively, and an incredibly streaky shooter, but he can sure knock down the freee ones!

Reddick probably won't even be a lottery pick, but he did get considerably better last season. I think Rudy Gay is the top prospect right now, and he would actually fit in Toronto pretty well.

Milwaukee is suddenly looking to be a playoff team. T.J., Redd, Simmons, Magliore, and Bogut. Then you have Joe Smith, Gadzuric, I forget who the guards off the bench are, but they are definately a team to be reckoned with.
