Perfect time for a rant.
I just made a thread about how I was pissed off about Rene Dupree's amazing de-push, but this brings up a whole different topic.

Rene Dupree burst right into the U.S.Title division upon his arrival to Smackdown! from RAW. He had some good matches with Cena, RVD and Booker T, all fairly entertaining guys at the time, and highlights of the show. Dupree was even in a Fatal-4 way Elimination match with the three, and I really enjoyed the match. Good compitition, Title had value, solid TV.

Rene abruptly dissapeared after being "sacrificed" by the Undertaker. When he returns, he looks like a fucking clown. I can't take a guy like that seriously in a match.

This begs the question, is creative OK? Have they gotten into some bad drugs? I last read that the average wrestler on TV makes around 250,000 a year. Not sure how accurate that number is, but im going with it. WHY would you pay a guy that much money, and then put him into position where he won't get any attention, fan base, ect. Pure talent is GREAT, and when a guy shows it often and consistently, RVD for example, he keeps his job for a good amount of time. But the creative team is RESPONSIBLE for putting these guys on tv, giving them the time they need, and making them look appealing.

There are a bunch of wrestlers who really aren't going anywhere. Deadweight needs to be cut, and I think you should keep bouncing guys around until you grab a winner.

Nothing wrong with testing the waters. Sometimes cretive works, sometimes it doesn't. I've enjoyed the Simon Dean character thus far and that is pretty off the wall...

All depends on who it is, how they do it, when they do it, and if the fans will buy it.

Dupree is a green ass clown. At least creative are trying to do something with this guy instead of letting him rot. What a stupid rant
