Japanese wrestling...

Do Japanese wrestling promotions run weekley TV shows like WWE? Do they have gimmicks and feuds like WWE? Also, if you were japanese, is wrestling considered shameful, or is is respected? Do they run big PPV events every month or are they on TV at all? Can someone explain some things to me please?

Wrestling is way more respected in Japan. They're more about the sport, rather than the storylines.

Honestly, I'm not sure if they have "weekly" TV shows or not... I know shows are broadcast, but I don't know if they occur clock work every week like they do here.

There are storylines in some feds, like NJPW.... Go Erotic Terrorist.

Other feds are based more around competition, like Noah.
