The scheduel was set up to be very easy in the beginning , but like Supreme said. Thats probably the toughest remaining schedule in the league.

I dont know what you mean for the last paragraph, but that throw was really nice. It was Manning's night no doubt. He was just about flawless if he hadnt thrown that stupid INT.

I watched about five minutes of it. The part where Belichek was challenging the touchdown or something in the 4th. I also saw Freeney go too quick for himself even and he fell down without being touched.

Randall Gay was the starting safety. The same Randall Gay that was an undrafted free agent cornerback coming out of college last year. Its tough for a secondary for like that to play the probably the best passing team in the NFL. I want to say if they meet in the playoffs things will be different but that's only if the secondary somehow gets patched up. I don't know how that is going to happen either. Harrison is out for the year and so isn't Tyrone Poole. Hopefully they still somehow cut Duane Starks: "I'm not a phsyical corner"

The defense really blew this game but it was good to see the Patriots move the ball on offense. If it wasn't for that Dillon fumble at the end of the first half I don't think the game would have been so one sided. Patriots where on their way to scoring most likely. That is a 14 point swing right there.

Starks is the worst cornerback I've seen on the Patriots in a long time. Poole isn't the greatest corner of all time or anything but he could help. Pretty much they have no depth at position in the defensive secondary. They have 4 defensivebacks out for the year. Harrison is not coming back though and that is going to hurt them big time.

Anyone see Clinton Portis's socks this week though? Gotta be a fine haha

Speaking of point swings, how about last year to this year? Troy Brown was at CB last year and yall did a fine job. You pressured Manning into mistakes and whatnot. He was heaving them downfield this year. It's like the Colts had been gameplanning since the offseason for this game. Yet the Pats were like, meh. Wah wah, no Rodnay, and only half of Bruschi ( ). Cry about it. It's still Belicheck. I want to believe he let the Colts have this one to make the playoff win all the more gratifying. But maybe we have to face reality... Bill Belicheck is HUMAN.

It depends on which Poole you get. When the Pats signed him, I hated the move, I had images of him spinning like a top against people, yet when he got to NE his game completely changed, and he improved and played physical, that being said he's still just like 5'2 or something. But the Pats would have been in much better shape with him then Starks.

It's like how the Red Sox would build a team to face the Yankees. The Colts feel the key to the superbowl is having home field for the playoffs, the last place they wanted to be in New England in January. Nah, the Pats have never cried about injuries, and typically win with injuries, although as Schottinhimer said a few weeks ago "eventually injuries catch up with you". Bruschi, Johnson (retire), Harrison, Seymore all key injuries. But still doesn't change, this is the NFL people get hurt and you still need to win. Dillon is playing at like 50% because they have no one else, Faulk is done for the year, Pass is hurt, they brought in a new FB last week and brought back Mike Cloud... But Dilllon's the man, he'll play hurt, and a few weeks ago they wouldn't let him play hurt he was pissed.

The reality is, everyone is human, Belicheck, Brady, etc... although, if you look at the game, the Offense had a pretty good game. It was clearly the defense and more importantly the defensive secondary that lost this game.

People we're talking about strength of schedule based on last years results. Last year, the Jets were 10-6 won a wild card.

Based on last year results, the Patriots had the 2nd hardest schedule in the history of the NFL, (the Phins had the hardest because they play the Pats x2 and the Pats play the Phins x2). The pats also had the toughest "6 games" in the history of the nfl.

Schedules (who you play) are made up I think 5yrs in advance, the only thing undecided until the year before is the dates of games.

So yeah, I got a kick out of people around here who thought that it was a conspiracy to help the Colts. That's crap!

(put that in bold so you didn't think I agreed with the whole schedule complaints crap).
