Exclamation Rate the Tag Team - Week 41 - The Powers of Pain


Hello TPWWers! Welcome to Rate the Tag Team for the 41th time. Last time we rated TNA's own The Naturals and they scored an ok 61. I thought they would do a bit better but who the fuck am I? Nobody. So let us get on with this weeks team.

This team was RAW POWER. They started out in the NWA and immediately started feuding with the Road Warriors. After that short lived feud they headed to the WWE and were managed for a short time by The Baron (Baron Von Raschke) as a face team. They later dropped The Baron and were picked up by Mr. Fuji when Demolition turned face at Survivor Series 88. This started a major feud between the two teams which culminated at Wrestlemania V. They eventually split because Mr. Fuji "sold" them separately to Bobby Heenan and Slick. They never reached the same status as singles competitors as the did together. Today they still team occasionally on the indy scene. This is the Warlord and the Barbarian, The Powers of Pain!!!

6. Solid power team, nothing as great as the Road Warriors but they had a better look(size wise) than Demolition.
