Some think UK wont make it because they have had some bad losses and have been down double digits in all but 4 games this season. But I think they will make it even though they only got two major wins (West Virginia,Louisville)

Duke was very fortunate in their wins against UNC,BC,FSU,VT and Memphis. Like Dickie V said last night they were very lucky to win all five of those matchups.

Haha, you don't get lucky 5 times. You get lucky every once in a while, ala VT. They didn't get lucky against UNC, BC, or Memphis. FSU was a really good game, don't see how they got lucky in that one either. If by lucky you mean the games could have went either way, then yeah, but I don't consider that lucky. Lucky is hitting a half courter at the end of the game. Lucky is what we (Bama) did against Vandy last night. It just being a good game doesn't consist them as lucky. They are 21-1. Could they be 16-6? Very easily, but they aren't, because they know how to win.

I'd say its pretty lucky that FSU center Alexander Johnson got called for an intentional foul when he did absolutely nothing, the league agreed and suspended the referees. The free throw because of the foul was worth 1 point, the same amount Duke won by.

exactly that was no way intentional, plus Williams got by with a clear foul on BC in the final seconds of a close game that might have sent the game to OT.

Quin Snyder resigned today, probably the biggest story I've ever worked on. We found out and went to the arena, and there was all sorts of press there but he was gone. My friend next door is the token white walk on, so he gave me a little scoop, but the press conference consisted of the media relations director reading two sentences that didn't actually say Quin has resigned, so it's a big mess. Anyway, maybe some positive energy will come out of Columbia now, people hated Quin for some reason.

Yeah, Melvin looks to take over this year.

Rick Majerus is my choice, but it could be anybody right now. I think it's a midtake to take our chances on a mid-major coach though.
