Leeds' away form will have to pick up for them to stand a chance, they were seriously shite here the other week, we had 10 men for 80 minutes and looked the more likely winners. Then they've lost at Brighton and drew at Derby recently, 2 points from 9 against half the bottom six isn't great.

Solano's 2nd was a peach.

Yeah, we seem to fuck up against the lower teams. Losing away to Crewe, Brighton and Wednesday.

It'll come down to how we do in the 2 matches with Palace, I suppose. Might not have a chance when we get round to Sheff Utd.

We need to go back to fucking 4-4-2 for a start. We are way out of our depth using formations that not only we don't have the players for but a total lack of experience too. They were on about us not having a strike partnership when Gary O'Connor has done well since he came back, Derek Riordan can't even get a start and Kris Boyd is totally untested. I couldn't see any reason not to start Gary Teale on right midfield tonight and yet we went for fucking Dailly. Graham Alexander couldn't trap a bag of cement and what the fuck was Neil Alexander even doing in the squad? I can take David Weir but the Caldwell cocks are beyond awful.

Barry Ferguson just isn't the same player he was at Blackburn (when he actually played well!).

One of the Caldwell brothers, i forget which one, Stephen possibly, scored a hilarious own goal for Coventry against us at Highfield Road in 2003. Toddy I think it was, ran in and had a shot, hit the post and the ball came out and Caldwell ran in and put the ball into the net before looking absolutely gutted. Needless to say we won 4-0 whilst strolling to the championship. Stoney scored that night too. Infact, i think i'll go download the highlights from Pompey World.

Well, Chelsea would probably make him the highest-paid player in the world. On top of that, Bayern aren't the team they used to be, it's widely believed he mainly moved there to put himself into the public eye for this coming World Cup, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't get along with the club president (Beckenbauer) either. Might be other reasons, I dunno.

Arsenal and England full-back Ashley Cole has launched 'unusual' legal proceedings against The News of the World and The Sun over claims that two unnamed footballers were involved in a 'gay sex orgy'.

Although Cole was not named in any of their articles, he is essentially suing News Group Newspapers over the newspapers' 'wink-wink' insinuations which prompted various websites to speculate that he was one of the players involved.

'Legal experts view the case as an important step in taking the temperature of libel and privacy law in cases where the aggrieved parties are not named but the public is able to build up a "jigsaw" identification via tabloid hints that spark gossip via email, blogs and chatrooms,' reports The Guardian.

'They said the privacy part of the claim was "unique" because it relied on an untested concept known as "false privacy" - even though Cole says he is not gay, he will argue his privacy has been invaded.'

The original story was published in The News of the World last month and claimed that 'two bisexual stars made some very dirty phone calls - using a mobile as a gay sex toy'. Although the NoTW didn't have a copy of the recording of the alleged incident, it said a reporter had seen it.

'The tongue-in-cheek treatment continued in the News International stablemate the Sun, which later alluded to the story in the caption on a paparazzi snap of the footballer out on the town with his pop star fiancee, Cheryl Tweedy, prompting a letter to newspaper editors by Cole's solicitors. At no stage did either newspaper name the footballer or explicitly use his picture, making the libel claim unusual. But legal sources believed he could have a strong case none the less,' adds The Guardian.

'In cyberspace several sites published the picture used by the News of the World to accompany its second story and suggested it was a crudely doctored version of a snap of Cole and a dance music DJ taken from the website of a radio station, Choice FM. The gay website Pink News featured a juxtaposition of the picture used in the tabloid and the alleged original, suggesting they were the same shot doctored by the paper.'

I remember in that shit hot documentary about Barca, Joan Laporta said Bayern don't pay big wages.

One of the papers here said Chelsea would pay him £120,000, which seems insane and i dunno if he would get that much but he could probably do better.
