msvcr80.dll...Ignore it?
Norton's One-Button Checkup has told me a couple of time multiple files cannot access this or other DLLs. When I checked on Symantec's site, they just tell you to ignore the problem. Is this the sort of thing that will cause me trouble down the road? Getting told to ignore it seems kind of a quick solution for them, bt I'm wondering if it's bad for me.

Yeah, just ignore it. I'm sure this is close to, if not the exact page, that you can see a walkthrough.
