possible eddie storyline
what would have been the storyline if eddie was alive

first his chance at surv series would b fucked by orton

get the point he would have been there in place of orton at no way out royal rumble wrestlemania etc etc

Despite the poor grammar - that's not a bad topic. Where would Eddie Guerrero be now if he hadn't passed away. Would he back in the World Title scene? Would Mysterio have gotten that huge push and eventual squash? Would he be over on the ECW brand?

I was thinking the exact same thing a few weeks back, been on my mind alot.

Personally i dont think Rey would have gotten were he was, no chance in hell. Mark Henry did not make an apperence from what i recall when Eddie was alive, because it was while Batista/Rey were Tag Champions.

Batista may, or may not have been injured because the storylines would probably have differed in someway and so he may have kept the title a little while longer. Could have ended up were Eddie screwed Batista in someway, thus turning heel again although it would have seemed unlikely.

Eddie would've taken Kurt Angle's place in the Main Event.

He was scheduled to win the World Title the day he died. Batista would be gone to recover (he only stayed cuz Eddie died and they needed star power).

I believe he would've faced Henry at RR, Taker at NWO and maybe just Orton at Wrestlemania.

I don't think we can ever confirm it 100%, but that was the strong clue given by Steph in that interview.

I've been saying it for months, but Eddie's death really did set off a chain reaction that sent SmackDOWN absolutely downhill.

I could have seen the following...

Eddie winning the Royal Rumble.

Eddie taking the title from Angle at Mania 23.

Rey beating Eddie for the title around now (SummerSlam).

Rey losing the title around the Survivor Series to someone like Booker.

Eddie beating Booker at the Rumble, Rey winning the Rumble.

Rey vs. Eddie for the WrestleMania 23 main event where Rey wins it and the feud ends.

Those events could have made Rey look like a very credible Mania main event. Instead they jumped the gun, pushed him too hard, too fast, had him basically shit on Eddie, and become one of the most squashed champions in history.
