It's like SVR 06 where you could unlock him via GameShark/CodeBreaker, but he was the commentator version. Apparently "legend" only means you don't need a cheat device to play as the commentator version of Tazz.

1. Eddie wouldn't be in season mode, due to the obvious lack of VO

2. There's also a clip of him being elbow dropped by Eddie in a match, also in the suit.

And to answer about the pics being from last year, its all from clips from tv promoting the game. I just took the pics with my camera off of my TV.

I'm just hoping that he has 2 attires or something.

It kinda annoyed me in a small way that Hogan wrestles in the game with the bandana on all the time. Its seriously going to agitate me if Tazz is constantly in shades.

These are the silly little things that are in otherwise decent games that are perplexing.

-No custom soundtracks for entrances (though you can still play them stock as far as all XB360 games go, but it isn't the same).
-DX's intro is nice but would it have been too much to add alternate attire? I mean HHH's trunks is the same thing with "DX" painted on it...
-Legend Tazz in his current attire. I would've liked 'Taz' in his ECW gear.

To be fair, we only know one of those to be 100% true, being the custom soundtracks.

We don't know for sure whether HHH, HBK or Tazz have alternate attires or not. We can only hope for now

Smackdown Countdown: Matt Hardy


Video 1 - Entrance

OH YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Hardy comes out flapping his fingers around and throws up the V-OneAAAHHHHH sign. He walks down to the ring and when he gets in he gets on the ropes and salutes the crowd.

Video 2 - Fighting time

Hardy vs Helms, they reverse each other a couple of times and when Hardy gets the upper hand he locks in an ARM BAR and then hits a neck breaker. Hardy rolls up Helms in a small package but gets a two count. Helms gets a reversal in and hits a neck breaker of his own on Hardy.

Video 3 - Fighting time II

Hardy takes Helms down with a Side Effect, and after a couple of punches and kicks, Hardy executes the Twist of Fate. Hardy picks up Helms and hits ANOTHER Twist if Fate. He goes for the cover and gets the three count. Hardy then celebrates by bouncing on the ropes and throwing up the V-OneAAAAHHHHHHHHHH sign again.

I just decided after I've played a few exibition matches, I'm going to try out season with Khali and Umaga....just to see how they've done the VO, considering neither has spoken a word of English since being on TV.

Just like in SVR 06, certain wrestlers might not be available in Season Mode. Those may include Khali and Umaga.

Video 1 - Entrance

Torrie comes out with Chole under her arm, and it looks like a little rat rather than a dog. She walks down to the ring, lots of wolf whistles from the crowd. She poses in the ring and kisses the rat. Note: Torrie has HUGE pixalted boobies.

Video 2 - Fighting time

Torrie vs Candice, and things start out bad for Torrie as Candice levels her with a DDT. Torrie takes for ever to get up and eventually gets a neckbreaker in after a couple of reversals. Torrie takes down Candice and then punches her in the vagina. She then locks in a ankle submission but Candice doesn't quit.

Video 3 - Fighting time II

Torrie seems to be in control with a dropkick and after a slapping combo she slams Candice down with the facebuster. She goes for the cover and only gets two. King still say he instead of she/her when talking about the opponant.

Fair point, but lst year I think it was just Eugene(Noticably anyway), who had basicly had his push and meant nothing at that point anyway.

Where as with Khali and Umaga, they are/ were in their pushes while the game was being made. Its a good point you make, and may very well be the road thay have chosen. I guess anything is guess work until the game is out though

He was a part in '06. He was in that storyline with Regal where they won the belts, then Regal was injured by Edge, Christian and Trish, so you become Eugene's partner except Trish was seducing Eugene and blah blah blah, I don't really remember anything in the middle of the story but you end up playing for Trish's contract as well as the titles.

I'm starting to think thats the way they're going to sway with Umaga and Khali in this one. Not as playable characters in season mode, but in storylines as the 'monster' character who comes down and beats the crap out of your character, leading to a feud. This way, like Eugene last year, they will only have set lines in a small part in the story, if any at all.

WWE suing THQ and Jakks again

Pro-wrestling federation files a second suit against game publisher and toymaker with the same goal of having its game-license agreements terminated.

Two years ago this week, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) filed suit against the publishers of its games, THQ, Jakks Pacific, and their joint venture THQ/Jakks Pacific LLC, as well as a number of individuals working for or with the companies. That suit alleged that the defendants conspired to unfairly win the WWE license agreement, resorting to racketeering and bribes in order to land the coveted deal after the wrestling company's license with Acclaim expired.
That case is still making its way through the courts, but THQ announced that the WWE filed another suit against the companies last week, this time alleging improper sales of WWE games in Japan and other Asian countries. Like the original legal action, the new suit seeks monetary damages and a declaration that the WWE can terminate its licensing agreement with THQ, Jakks Pacific, and THQ/Jakks Pacific. Both THQ and the joint company have said the suit is without merit and that they will fight it.
The legal battles haven't stopped the companies from working together in the meantime, however. THQ is set to release WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable next month.

it'll still come out, this happened last year when everyone was heard this and was scared that SvR 06 won't come out.
