Yeah, sorry if this is an obvious question, I'm entirley new to this stuff, I just want some software that can basically add parts of songs into other songs. Got any suggestions?

Use any simple recording program to add one over another? You don't even really need it to be multitrack software.

If you are talking about mixing different songs together, Ableton Live is the best for that.
