Championship Manager help.
I have created a new topic, as the other was too long.

I need some help regarding tactics.
I cannot, for the life of me win away.
I play 4-4-2, with the wingers pushing up, and a centre mid pushing up behind the attackers.

My team is
1. De Goey

2. Neil Cox (r)
3.Bogarde (l)
4. Tudor
5. Lambourde

7. Stanic(r)
8. Muzzi (l)
9. Zola(pushing up)
10.Merson
----------
11. Flo
6. Arveldaze.

My subs are Gudjohnsen, Evans, Le Saux, Notman, Weah.

Your playing far too attacking for an away game

None of your midfielders are defensive, and you've got 3 of them pushing forwrad, leaving Merson exposed. Merson is a playmaker not a defensive midfielder.

If you can do that, you might stop leaking goals.

Also, what are your tactics? If your playing away you need to tackle hard, and man mark.

You def need a defensive midfielder. You could try Lambourde in there as he used to play there for Chelsea, shify Bogarde into the middle and play Le Saux at left back.

Alternatively (this probably won't work as well) you could try 5-3-2 with Cox and Le Saux as the wingbacks.

I replaced Zola with Notman, and Gudjohnsen with Weah.
In my first away match at Wimbledon, I was winning 1-0, when 4 minutes from time De Goey got himself set off, and they scored a penalty. Also, I lost one of my best players, Stanic through injury.
So I fined him, and awaited the next match vs Nottingham. I took the lead after 12 minutes, but 5 minutes later, they equalised. At half time, the score was the same, but Freeman(an attacker) had been sent off. Duly, I scored 2 goals, to win 3-1, with that donkey Gillespie getting in on the act.
The victory was marred with a fight and sendings off of Scimeca and Gillespie.
