Do you remember when Angle was one of the most respected men in wrestling?
It's awesome because now he's one of the biggest jokes in wrestling.

Angle needs to get off Planet Stasiac and back to reality. Does he actually believe what he's saying is true? Is he just trying to really put TNA over?

I still can't believe how he said he'd beat Chuck Liddell. Seriously.





It's also sad because I still like Angle.

He's saying things like Dixie Carter is a better business person than Vince. He says this while TNA lost 10 million last year, and WWE made something like 40 million.

Kurt Angle is the man. He always will be. Bob Backlund drinks the closest thing he can to human blood, but he is still no less the man. Kurt Angle and Bob Backlund need to get together as "Crazy About America", or something. That would kick so much ass.

Angle is still the best wrestler in the world, and that is something TNA has over WWE any day of the week.

Holy shit, Bob Backlund has the whole vampire thing going on, and Kurt Angle has the mouthguard and being draped in the American flag.

I don't know if I mean this or not, but Kurt Angle and Bob Backlund as "American Vampires". That shit would be so crazy, it could work. Have Alex Shelley film their "home life" which is shot like a sitcom/mockumentary.

Putting over TNA might work better if he wasn't so laughable in the process. Things like claiming their ratings are higher than Smackdown, claiming he could kill anyone in MMA, these are things that make him and his company look like some joke trying to talk big. Wrestling is the art of deception. The trick is to deceive in ways people can suspend disbelief, though, and Kurt violates that. Regularly.

but from the way he delivers and organizes his writing, he makes it clear that he's dead serious with that.
I think he's a decent poster overall, even if some of his posts maybe a bit over the top.

You know remember back when Angle was actually funny and wasn't allowed to give public interviews. So we didn't all know he was a raving loony. He had Bob Backlund as his trainer in WWE, he started using the Crossface Chicken Wing as his submission finisher too then later he switched to the Ankle Lock.

They weren't vampires though.

I wasn't actually being serious with those posts, Jeritron. I was channelling the spirit of Kurt Angle.

But honestly, if Kurt and Backlund did do that, don't tell me it wouldn't be good for a laugh. Angle being a dork > Angle being a serious crackpot.

I think Kurt Angle is still the man. He consistently entertains me more than anything else in wrestling, and is getting a great push in TNA. Plus, he's a bad ass. Anyone else see that headbutt he took from Scott Steiner on Impact? That was brutal.
