Specific song lyrics
I've been noticing a few things that I find kinda weird:
1. The phrase "his/her face is a map of the world" is found in at least two different songs: "From Yesterday" by 30 Seconds to Mars, and "Suddenly I See" by KT Tungstall. What's up with that? Anybody else notice that? Kinda hard to be a coincidence. 2. The phrase "waiting on some..." is in two different The Killers songs. Like do they re-use lyrics from song to song? "Waiting on some beautiful boy" is in "When You Were Young", and "Waiting on some sign" is from "Read My Mind". Just some weird occurrences I thought I'd share. |

30 Seconds To Mars might be the worst band out there today.

I agree, but replace that with The Killers, and you've got it. They're getting to be like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, where every song sounds almost the same, but not quite yet to the level of Hinder, Nickelback, et al.

Yes, The Killers are terrible, I enjoyed Hot Fuss, but Sams Town is awful.

"Turn off the radio, turn off that bullshit."
I really liked Sam's Town. A lot more ambitious than Hot Fuss (which I also really liked). |

I think I've heard the KT/30Seconds thing prior to either song, not as a lyrics, but just as a way to wax poetic.
A lot of bands reuse phrases, whether for artistic purposes or more as a signature. |
