I don't see why people are so pissy at the company for.

They were going to go for the serious route with Kennedy, but Kennedy fucked it up.

They had a week to come up with something else, so they went with a comedy angle.

Well I just got a phone call from a friend of mine. Hornswaggle is the bastard son??? I guess I like this idea in the sense the angle will be dropped within a month now and not be a major angle leading into Mania. So actually, I'm proud of WWE.

I'm not sure why people are pissed. Would you rather this angle be wasted on someone important? The way I see it, it's one less main event space filled by a stupid angle. With this, either they end it now, or they keep going but keep it in the background while the main events gets something more significant.

And I'm sure this was pointed out already (but I only went to page 8), but ironic that on the night the son was revealed, they were in Green Bay. Normally, this is just called pre-planning, but I don't trust the WWE to do that, so I'll say it's random luck that the location for what could have been was Green Bay.

Triple H just wanted to make Vince look like an ass by paying off the
"lawyer" to set it up like that. The real bastard son is Kennedy.

Really.

I mean would you rather have someone like Burke or Kennedy or anyone else be tied to this angle for the rest of their career?

At least this way they can go a different way of building up a potential Kennedy/HHH Mania match. Hell they could still have Kennedy and Vince be a father/son like duo. Have Vince apologize to Kennedy saying that he would rather have him as a son. And have Vince start treating Kennedy more like a son than anyone else.

That way it still gives Kennedy that big push and at the same time doesn't tie him down as a McMahon in the terms of storylines for the rest of his career.

At least this way they can go a different way of building up a potential Kennedy/HHH Mania match. Hell they could still have Kennedy and Vince be a father/son like duo. Have Vince apologize to Kennedy saying that he would rather have him as a son. And have Vince start treating Kennedy more like a son than anyone else.

That way it still gives Kennedy that big push and at the same time doesn't tie him down as a McMahon in the terms of storylines for the rest of his career.
Yes, I would. It's extremely easy to undo the angle. A simple DNA test could be used to prove that Vince isn't the father. Hell, it could have been Shelton, and his Mama could have been lying about it so he could get some extra money so she could take care of her heart problems.

What it comes down to though, is SOMEONE could have been easily elevated to the main event scene.

Instead, they went with an unfunny joke that makes wrestling look like it hasn't evolved much at all since its Carny days.

Maybe next Batista can wrestle a bear.

But the angle was a joke to start with.

For one the court documents would state the names of the parties involved. So when Coach first told Vince about this suit, Coach would've been able to tell Vince exactly who the supposed son was.

And in that time they could've done DNA testing and all of that shit. Not to mention when Coach and Triple H brought out random women who claimed to slept with Vince which they were clearly going for a "Ha ha ha" route.

The whole angle was DOA from the start regardless of who it turned out to be, it's better for the storyline to end the same way it started, a joke. I mean if the company can't even take the angle seriously, why should we?

Oh and I'm sure a bear could have better matches with Batista than Khali can.
