Got through the Sniper mission and Heat last night.

Damn. Taking out that guy was really realistic. I thought I had him lined up then a good gust of wind blew that bullet off course. Another try or two then I popped his head off. Heat was a pain in the ass. Ran out of ammo when I hit the farmhouse. Had to grab some RPGs and call in REALLY close range air supports to get me through.

I got this game the day it came out for PC, I beat the short campaign quickly and hit the max level online in about a week, and unlike the console versions there's no Prestige Mode, so there's not much to do once you hit max level.

Oh yeah and my computer died and I lost my rank online, so I haven't really bothered playing it since. Fun game though, if anyone got it for PC and wants to play send me a PM.

As someone who used to play R6:V religiously, and was a god at the game, I can safely say that CoD4 is a lot more fun. I liked certain aspects of R6 better, but overall CoD is just a better game. More polished, more challenging, etc.. You can be good at CoD4, but it's a big step from being good to being a god at this game. Some people I've played against are just absolutely ridiculous.

So how does everyone like to play? Weapon layouts? fav maps?

I like to be stealthy. Eithr with a Drugunov(hate the bolt actions)+ claymores + UAV Jam + Iron Lungs, or MP5 + Silencer+claymores+UAV Jam + Steady Aim

I've been averaging 10+ kills and less than 5 deaths with with this layout. I do camp somewhat with the sniper rifle, but i never stay in the same spot for more than two kills. Don't really understand the complaints about camping anyways. What should you do, run around firing from the hip with a sniper rifle? come on.

My favorite class is an M4 Carbine/Desert Eagle with Bandolier/Stopping Power/Martyrdom.

I like pretty much every map besides District. I hate that map so much. My favorite maps are Crash, Overgrown, and probably Pipeline.

District is fucking awesome for S&D, which is the mode I play the most. I always play that, or when some friends are on we like to play Team Tactical, the small 3 vs 3. I hate Countdown and Bog. I am a P90 whore with claymores and martyrdom. But when I start a new prestige, I use the Carbine until I hit level 40.

Care to inform us of where? Epic hasn't even confimed the existance of gears 2 (even though its a given its in the works) let alone released screenshots of something they havn't even talked about yet.

Back on topic, the UAV Jammer is fucking awesome. I can't tell you how many times I'm in a little corner in the dark or something and an enemy runs and crouches down RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Also, on several occassions a whole trio of guys will run right by me, and I'll just catch up with one and knife him. Then mow the other two down with the mp5. Delicious.
